I had an excellent experience today at TriStar Skyline Medical Center. I came into the emergency room in a lot of pain, and the entire team treated me with incredible care and professionalism. Dr. Ferrell was outstanding — very attentive, knowledgeable, and truly caring. Dr. Alex and the nursing staff were also amazing. They were kind, fast, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The emergency department worked very efficiently, and I was impressed by how quickly they helped me while still giving me great attention. Everyone treated me with respect and compassion, which made a difficult situation much easier. The level of care I received was truly top-notch. Thank you to the entire team for your excellent service. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone who needs emergency care. They are professional, fast, and genuinely care about their patients.

I am writing this to share a terrifying and medically negligent experience I had in the Emergency Department. I arrived via ambulance as a Congestive Heart Failure patient with an implanted ICD (defibrillator). What followed was a complete breakdown of safety protocols and basic patient care. 1. Reckless Handling of Cardiac Equipment: The nursing staff was aware that the device that was brought into the room was a different company then my ICD. I also mentioned again that it wasn't going to work and they still procedded to try. After confirming the device did not work, I overheard them verbally complaining about having to go to a different floor to grab the correct device. This is a life-saving cardiac implant, not a piece of equipment to be "experimented" with by staff who admitted they had no idea how to use the machine and laughed about their lack of knowledge. 2. Disregard for Patient Input & Physical Harm: I informed everyone in the room immediately that I am a "hard stick" for blood draws. They ignored my warning and unsuccessfully attempted to stick me four times. It wasn’t until the fifth attempt, after finally calling a phlebotomist, that they were successful. I have been left severely bruised and traumatized by this unnecessary "trial and error" approach. 3. Negligent Discharge: Despite the primary reason for my visit being my heart and ICD, I was discharged with absolutely no information or data results from my device. I have been left with no documentation to provide to my regular cardiologist for essential follow-up care. The level of incompetence and the "short-cut" mentality I witnessed in this ER is a direct threat to patient safety. I expected life-saving care; instead, I received reckless treatment that could have put my life at risk.

Super nice Allan explained everything before the testing started. Julie started my iv she was so nice explained everything she was doing and why. I did not get the name of the ultrasound young lady. My bad because she was very professional and caring. I did not get the young man's name that performed the treadmill test. He was also great at explaining what he was happening during the test, letting me know how long the test would take. All in all it was a professionally performed experience, that made me feel comfortable. giving me the knowledge that I truly was dealing with caring professional staff.

Dr Hunt is always spectacular, he speaks in EMS language and always teaching me something every lecture! I'm 20 years in EMS and critical care medic , over the years I've listened to several lectures and no one does it any better! Please keep doing what your doing!

Working with Britany Clark as may physical therapist after my shoulder arthroscopic surgery in Skyline’s outpatient rehab clinic was nothing short of AMAZING! She was really kind and cared a lot. She also knew what she was doing and followed my surgeon’s protocol perfectly. Everyone was thankful for that. I can now scratch my back with both of my hands!! I can tell she is really dedicated to her craft and continual learning. You will be blessed if you have her as your physical therapist.
