I've been seeing Dr. Martinez for many years and have always felt that he truly cared for my health and wellbeing. Gonzaba Medical Group and the Main Medical Center staff and clinicians are the best. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a comprehensive health provider that will treat them with personalized care and truly "como familia".

I'm a new patient at Gonzaba. From the entrance of Gonzaba on Pleasanton Rd., you enter to find a scene of a Mexican culture with a fountain in the center of the reception room were you are greeted by multiple staff. Very organized reception staff sign you in. Your experience has just started. Courteous staff escort you to the waiting room for your appointment. I was greeted first by the medical assistant to got my blood pressure ECT. Then came the good part. I meet my Dr Martinez Diaz. I felt like all my concerns were answered and she went over my medication. She was so attentive with a wonderful warm smile. I can attest that all the staff and Doctor where there to assist the patients in a more than comforting manner. You will not be disappointed going to Gonzaba.

We were treated very well. Great staff. They have patient advocates who really care about patients and help them with any problems. Great customer care! The best for my mother who is 78!

My Patient advocate was very nice, professional and got me the help that o needed. This visit went flawlessly and everything fell into place. I recommend you see them if you need communication with your busy doctor.

I took my father in for an appointment after being at the hospital for some weeks, as a follow up appointment and to get his feet in the door since he had not been to his primary for over 3 years. Appointment was today at 9:20 A.M. with a PA instead of Dr. Gonzaba which was the fastest appointment available. We get to the appointment before 9:20 A.M. only to be told the PA scheduled was not coming in. The front desk lady proceeded to lie to our faces stating that they had called us at around 9:05 A.M. to let us know that the PA was not available today, neither my father or myself had any missed calls this morning! So I asked to be seen by anyone else today because we need to establish medications for my father and tests for diabetes and so forth. I was sent to the patient advocate office where I saw atleast 6 or 7 desks all with workers. I was given a beeper so that I could return into the office once it was activated. I sat there waiting for a minimum of 10 minutes, I got tired of waiting and told the secretary I was leaving because this should not be taking so long to address. What were all those women doing in there if none of them where actively helping any patients? If these ladies have a workload to take carenof in any day, why can they not leave the workload aside until the patients are taken care of first? Why do we have to reschedule an appointment? Why does the clinic not take care of the patients by automatically filling them in with other PAs or doctors the same day instead of giving the responsibility of rescheduling to the patients? Why are patients being turned away when they already have appointments setup? Why are there so many hassles of speaking to so many different people to simply get seen by another PA or doctor? Seems like everyone is pushing the client to the next person because there is no communication, nor any true willingness to actually do the job required to serve each individual patient! I am a single mother of 4 so I had plenty of appointments to take my children to and guess what? If the pediatricians office effed up, THEY fixed it ASAP, THEY got my kids seen by another doctor right away! THEY made sure the visits were pleasant and as easy and accommodating to ME, their client! My father is on a walker, freshly out of surgery from a broken femur, if he was there by himself, what would have happened? How long would he have had to sit there waiting for these people to actually help him!? This is ridiculous! I honestly have a bitter taste in my mouth from this first impression from this office! I definitely will be searching for another clinic who is more competent, organized and unified than this clinic. We will give them another try on our next appointment on the 24th but I am already seeing troubles down the road being that it is on Christmas eve day. But now we still have the burden of calling them back, being placed on hold, and rescheduling an appointment that should have been honored the same day by any other physician or PA within the building!
