I had a good experience while here. Didn’t wait long to get back to a room. Nurses were attentive and kept me comfortable. The only complaint I have is if a patient is coming in for surgery and hasn’t been able to eat or drink since midnight, they need to be aware beforehand that they will have to pee in a cup before they can have surgery. Admissions waited until I asked for a bathroom and went, to later produce a cup and tell me my surgery would be delayed until I filled it. And it was just for a pregnancy test that I knew I’d be negative for.

My surgery went well & the care I received was great! I would like to compliment nurses Elise & Brennen on the 4th floor of the Sarah Cannon Center for their courtesy, gentleness, & friendliness. My only complaint was the food. One work sums it up - yuck!

After retiring from healthcare, I recently experienced something very different — being on the other side of the bed rail. I underwent a total shoulder replacement with an overnight stay at an HCA Healthcare facility TriStar Centennial Medical Center — not a hospital where I had previously worked, not as a leader, not as a recruiter… just as a patient. And I have to say — the experience was exceptional. The pre-admission process was streamlined and efficient. From the moment we entered the building, the staff created a warm, calming environment. The reception area on the day of surgery even offered workstation spaces, which my husband appreciated while waiting for my assigned room. Communication stood out in a big way. Throughout surgery and recovery, my husband received real-time text updates, which eased anxiety and kept him connected to my care journey. Meals were delivered timely (though three times requested toast and we are still waiting on the toast I requested! 😊). But in all seriousness, the clinical care, attentiveness, and professionalism were impressive. Special shout out to Jess in the PACU as I had some issues and she made me feel like a VIP! I plan on writing them all up for the Daisy Award! But shouting them out here is just another great recognition! Gaia and Daijaiec my nursing staff made me feel like I had a private nurse on duty the entire time! The organization had a nurse navigator, Amanda, to whom made the process of going home ok … that I’d be OK. What struck me most was this: I was truly a “nobody” there — no title, no internal connections, no VIP status. And yet, I felt valued, heard, and genuinely cared for. Having spent over three decades inside healthcare organizations, I know how complex operations can be — especially in a for-profit environment. This experience reminded me that excellence in care ultimately comes down to people. The nursing staff went above and beyond, and their compassion was evident in every interaction. I do miss being on the inside. But I am deeply encouraged to know that extraordinary caregivers are still showing up every day — making patients feel safe, supported, and seen. Grateful to have experienced healthcare from a new perspective.

This hospital and its staff was amazing! Each staff member we came into contact with was so kind and helpful. All of my nurses in labor and delivery and postpartum were so nice and explained everything thoroughly to us. My labor and delivery nurse Anna was exceptionally amazing, she had to unexpectedly deliver my baby and she handled it like a pro and was always so nice and helpful! We felt especially safe with the security measures at the hospital. My baby had to stay in the NICU and all of the nurses have been so kind to my husband and I while also taking amazing care of our baby. We were so pleased with our stay and our care. We absolutely will recommend it to anyone we know and if we decide to have any more children, we will 100% come back here.

I am extremely grateful for the nursing care I received during my stay. I had surgery at the Women's Hospital and stayed overnight. Two nurses: Ally and Bri on the 6th floor were compassionate, attentive, and consistently professional. They took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made sure I was comfortable and well informed throughout my stay. Kudos to you for having these two amazing nurses at your facility!
