Ohio State University Hospital

Very nice hospital. I had a family member at the Rhodes Hall, on the floor for liver and kidneys. I stayed with the family member, the hospital staff is very professional while at the same time, they are very knowledgeable in their parsley fields of study. The hospital provided me with laundry and shower accommodations for free, during the time we were there.

Excellent care experience. The team communicated clearly and made everything feel less stressful. The facility looks modern and well maintained. StrongBody(.AI) supports global healthcare collaboration, and high-quality providers like this should be recognized more widely.

I was recently in the hospital for surgeries (4 in total). At no time did I feel that I was in an unsafe place. The Nurses and aides were the greatest. They went above standard care. The 12th floor Nursing are the best!!!!!!!! I also can't forget the medical staff in surgery and recovery. You guys were great 👍😃 Also a big shout-out to Dr John Alexander and Dr Souza and his staff. These Drs are the best, bedside care, answering questions, and genuine caring about how I was doing.

I came to the hospital on 12/25 (Christmas Day) at 7:30am for a scheduled induction. I was honestly a little afraid that, because it was Christmas, there wouldn’t be many healthcare members available — but I was completely surprised and impressed by the professionalism and kindness of every single person I encountered. I was welcomed warmly at the front desk, less than 5 minutes the doctor came, performed an ultrasound, and clearly explained everything about my baby’s heart, fluid level, and the plan for the day. I was then taken to a beautiful room, and later they even offered us a larger room with a sofa bed so my husband could sleep comfortably — something I truly appreciated. What touched me the most was how patient, respectful, and supportive the entire team was. They saw that I came in with a hijab, and they kindly asked if I preferred only female staff to enter my room. That question alone made me feel seen, respected, and extremely comfortable. I tried to delay the epidural as long as I could, but when I couldn’t handle the pain anymore, the doctor came quickly. The epidural was done perfectly — I didn’t feel any pain after that, and I safely delivered my cute baby on 12/26 at 4:20am. After delivery, the lactation team was incredible. Jennifer, Julia, Kate, and Amanda took their time teaching me how to breastfeed properly and confidently. They were patient, encouraging, and made sure I felt prepared before going home — something I deeply appreciated as a new mother. I’m sorry that I cannot remember every single name because I was exhausted, but I will never forget how you all made me feel. Kayla, Renee (who even gave me a beautiful gift written in Arabic although she isn’t Arab), Allison — and truly everyone all the doctors and health team members without exception. You are angels. I will never forget what you did for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 💛

The main hospital campus is rapidly expanding with new construction constantly happening. It is a wonderful place with many specialists and a busy ER for most of Central Ohio region.
