I was a patient at this practice for 2–3 years, mainly for annual check-ups. Unfortunately, my experience was consistently frustrating. Even with scheduled appointments, I was often waiting much longer than expected. In the beginning, I rarely saw the doctor at all — only the PA. More recently, the doctor’s visits were brief, essentially just giving a fist bump. Emails and calls were never returned. When I needed continuity of care and documents for an insurance change, neither my calls nor emails were answered. Even my insurance tried contacting the office, but there was no response. I ended up having to leave for another provider. The office could have formally denied my services if they chose, but instead, they wasted a lot of my time with continuous delays and unresponsiveness. Overall, the lack of responsiveness, communication, and meaningful doctor interaction made it impossible to rely on this practice.

Needed to establish a PCP. Booked an 8:00 appointment, arrived on time, completed the sign in sheet. Sat in a dimly lit waiting room and waited until 8:20 with no interaction with the staff at this location. I decided to leave. There’s plenty of other PCPs in the area, no need to settle on this one to establish a long term provider relationship.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Long story short, my husband has been hospitalized 3 times since Christmas and is not well at all. asked for Dr MAC and got a PA which happened when I went for myself also, Payton Smith was a thorough and good PA, however she saw us Friday and is off weekends, sent us to another Dr office she recommended and said she would let them know we were on our way, it was a 29 minute drive plus traffic at 4pm on a Friday, only to get there and the doors be locked and lights out, they left 40 minutes earlier than the sign on their door. Tried to call Payton back and never got ahold of anyone. Went to pick up RXs and had two but not the two I expected, was missing the pain medicine which was not a controlled substance, she made clear she doesn’t write those but WOULD give him something comparable to Tylenol but a step up. I leave pharmacy disappointed Friday and call office Saturday morning at 11, 1pm, 4pm and again at 5:02 and each time was told there was no response yet from the team even though I called all morning and expressed how important it was, it was the main reason for visit along with referrals. After finally losing a little patience at closing when I was promised an answer by close and didn’t get that, I get told there’s nothing they can do and to go to the hospital since I didn’t see the other doctor, well I TRIED and they weren’t there and went out of the way to follow directive… why go to ER for something barely above over the counter?! Smh… then I’m told “they don’t write that RX” well, WHAT RX are you talking about because I was never given a name of a specific one soooo how do you know if you write it or not when no one has asked Payton which specific one she was going to write?!?! ✍️ spooo rude and insensitive that I was actually in tears almost begging for help and still got the run around, only to speak to office manager and be told I would hear back regardless of the answer because he was going to attempt to call PA, so I patiently wait for hours after explaining to him all my concerns of what happened and the unpleasant experience, to be slapped in the face again and be given the run around because he TOO never called back to say anything. Worst experience ever, still in awful pain and discomfort, popping Tylenol with a bad liver and trying to suffer through until Monday to go back to the dr I was told to visit, that closed early and wasn’t there. AWFUL customer service. Terrible at meeting patient needs, just all around bad experience. Do not go here if you truly need help more than the common cold!!!!! 🥶

The doctor provides good medical care, and my experience during the appointment was very good. However, the post-visit service from the office staff is extremely disappointing. It took me six phone calls just to get my lab results emailed to me. They leave you on hold, say they’ll send what you asked for, and then never follow through. On one occasion, I was left on the line for more than ten minutes without anyone returning. It’s unfortunate because the quality of the medical care is good, but the poor support from the front desk really ruins the overall experience.

This is my health we’re talking about here! When you send me for a CT scan and it comes back bad enough for you to call me same day, make an appt etc.. I show up to my appt and no one knows what I’m talking about. Front desk lady can’t get my name right, asked me for my birthdate 3x and still had it wrong. Said she doesn’t know anything about my appt etc… This is absurd! I’m left wondering if this is just a glorified doc-in-a-box or a real general practitioner! This isn’t a single occurrence either. Last year the doc said he wanted to see me back in 6 months and I watched him write that in my file. Tell me how I made it out of the office without the front desk scheduling this?? Oh but they were sure to get their money….
