Ascentist Primary Care

I had an appointment for my son at the ENT and we showed up on time after confirming via text. The girl at the front desk said we didn't have an appointment. We gave our information multiple times and all she could think to say was... "are you sure it's not at Advent?" ...and me saying no, it's Ascentist, we are in the place the text told us to be. After the third time she said the same thing without looking in her computer, I walked out. Then we received a $50 no show fee in the mail. I hope you can find a good replacement once you find out she can't read/listen.

I hope to continue my doctor-patient relationship with Dr. Erickson for the rest of my life! I've been when him since he practiced at KCFMC. Since the move to Ascentist Healthcare, I haven't noticed any difference in care. He is a wonderful and caring physician through and through. Also, his nurses are so kind and helpful! Even the schedulers are pleasant to talk to. I really love the way everyone truly cares about the patient's well-being. ❤️

So happy I found them. I was having a lot of trouble getting a dr to prescribe me all my medicine. Being controlled substances a lot of Drs are leery about prescribing all of them. Luckily it wasn't an issue here.

I have been a patient with Kansas City Family Medical Care since 2018. Love all of the doctors and nurse practitioners. Got great care everytime. I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes the week before they moved to the new building. Was given a sample of medication to use while they got insurance to approve the medication. My sample has run out and I cannot get in touch with anyone to get help with insurance approval of my medication so I am without. This new company is a disgrace. I cannot get through to talk to a person, they only contact me by text, they only say that pre authorization has been submitted over a week ago and they don't seem to care that I am without medication. It is so sad because the care I used to get was so good and now it is a total disaster and they don't seem to care at all. Your response is for me to call a direct line and you will help and yet it is just another recording saying you will get back with me...AMAZING!

Dr Erickson and I have had a doctor patient relationship since 1989. He is an amazing doctor and I can’t imagine changing. However, the assent organization is one of the worst organized healthcare systems I have ever dealt with. I just tried to schedule my yearly exam and I had to go through an automated system and three people to be told that the call center doesn’t have access to my previous medical records to know when my last year‘s appointment was so she has to reach out to the nurse in the office to go through my file. Get back with her on the date and then call me back to schedule my next appointment. I have signed authorizations to release my medical records from the previous healthcare system, but that doesn’t seem to help. Also, they keep reminding us that we need to have our credit card on file with them so that they can bill us whenever they want and for however much they want. And if you can’t give them today, notice to cancel a scheduled appointment they will bill you $50.
