They are the worst. The only thing green that they are interested in is your dollars and not your lawn. When I started the service in April, my only concern was crabgrass, at the end of season, my lawn is in much worse condition filled with crabgrass. During the season, I kept on reminding them that I don’t see any change and sent them pictures to support it. They didn’t take any action but kept on trying to sell me additional services without addressing my concern. I have spend around $1000 to have my lawn in worst condition.

Worst lawn care service ever. I paid for the premium service. The tech that comes does not treat weeds, just sprays scheduled services. You have to call every time a weed pops up. I tried calling my service manager and he said that service is not supported and to wait for my scheduled tech to take care of it. I asked if I could pay for someone to come out for extra visits to take care of weeds, and my service manager said no. It finally got escalated after months of threatening to go to the BBB and I turns out I did qualify for anytime visits to take care of weeds. The rep came out and said he does these visits all the time and my account manager Brandon was not great. I couldn’t get additional visits to treat my weeds because Brandon was not responsive. I paid for aeration and they never did it. Terrible company in my area. Please avoid.

I have used this company for the last few years and was very happy with them up until last year 2024. I did reach out to the company. The customer service has always been excellent. Spoke with a very nice woman who apologized on behalf of the company and stated that they would make corrections for the following year. Half of my lawn is caught on my ring camera so the company was privy to the videos of the inappropriate applications of some of its technicians. Some of the technicians are excellent but you never get the same technician and unfortunately some of them are terrible. Since I design landscape myself, but I do not treat lawns, I did notice overspray onto some of my trees. As you can see from the pictures the technician wrapped the hose around my tree knocking over my light and tiny statues in front of that tree. Pushing black mulch out of it also . He never fixed anything. Sloppy work with no respect for property. Yesterday on 10/30 /2025 I reached out to the company with my concerns to the inappropriate spraying techniques / overspray that I caught on my camera. I received a text stating they disagreed with my assessment. I made a phone call asking for a phone call back and did not receive one. I texted over a video of proper spray techniques. To some of us having Lawn Care is a luxury and we spend our hard earned money on it now that we are retired. So I agree with all the one-star comments under this company. I'm not aware if this is new management and that's why they do not care to follow up with their clientele. Upon further research into proper spray techniques I have found that my lawn should be 10 times better than what it is for the money I am paying in this company. So this client will no longer recommend or use Lawn Doctor. Now I've received a call and text after cancelling. No Thank You!

Bravo! Jim & Peter performed our fall fertilization, core aeration and overseeding this morning. Great, great job all around! Extremely grateful for the extra care we asked via Customer Service for around the new driveway we just had installed. Jim took extra time to answer my husbands' questions and gave him tips on what to do post application to help achieve best results heading into winter! Thank you! Thank You! Thank You! You guys & the whole LD South Shore team are best in class!

I was not home for our first service (new customer) but did review the ring camera footage. He was very thorough and made sure to apply all lawn care products in a methodical and careful way. They have a very nice machine with turf tires (saves the grass). Results will take some time to see but the first service went well. Total time for the first application was less than 30 minutes. Thank you sir.
