GreenPal Lawn Care

I should have paid attention to the reviews. First let me say that the lawn care service I got through GreenPal was excellent. My issue was GreenPal changing my schedule and not notifying me so the Lawncare ended up coming when I didn’t need them and honestly couldn’t pay them. Thankfully the lawncare company did not charge me for the service when they could have being it wasn’t their fault. I offered to pay them next week, but he just didn’t charge me. There is no human to talk to with GreenPal. I don’t know who gets a cut of the lawn care service you hire through them because as far as I can tell everything is a bot and they tell you to go through the lawn care people you hired. I suggest if you get a quote that you like, go directly to the company and not through GreenPal. It is so much easier to communicate with a human. Plus, if you delete your account with GreenPal, you can NEVER sign up again. What kind of company does that???!!! Save time and a headache and do t sign up with them at all.

We have tried to hire two different lawn mowers through this service. The first service stalled and finally showed up 6 days later than scheduled. They only mowed half the lawn, trimmed and left. No further communication of any kind! The second service, Rosa’s, totally failed to communicate once we booked them. They said that they were on the way and never even showed up with no response as to why they didn’t. They texted the next day and said that they were on the way. Then had the audacity to say that they were charging $40 instead of $28, as advertised because our grass was too high. This was after rain and several days of delay. Also, they added that it would take several mowings to get the lawn back to an acceptable height. Really? I say it’s a bait and switch tactic in reality! There’s a total disconnect somewhere with the booking and actually communicating and showing up on time or at all. Don’t waste your time or energy on their services.

This is a scam service. I hired a one-off mowing and GreenPal signed me up (they say at my request, but there was no such request) for weekly mowings all the way through November. To cancel, you have to click on each individual mowing and cancel them, waiting for their pop-up on each one only to have the page reset so you can do it all over again. The service that came out said the only way to stop them is to cancel via GreenPal website. You can't delete your account until all future services are cancelled. This organization is garbage, the exact kind of business that gives services a bad name.

Cost $175 for a job like this. Don't recommend for rental properties since you would need to go to the property anyway to make sure the mowers did what they were supposed to do. Once your card is charged GreenPal will not help you at all.

Hired to mow a lawn on a weekly basis. The wrong lawn was mowed. I sent a text to the mower and rated him with Greenpal. They still charged me the next day although their site says two days. There is no way to contact this company. No way to dispute. I received a text 4 days later based on my low rating saying they would try to do better. The mowing company also responded saying apologize. Nothing about coming back and mowing the grass. So I was charged $32 for a 30' x 30' lawn that was never mowed.
