I had a very unsatisfactory experience with ClearGreen. I had agreed to both single aeration/seeding and ongoing lawn fertilization. Taylor came to my property in Sept 2025. The very first thing I did was to emphasize my concern that AT&T had done a terrible job years before burying my internet line. I mentioned that I often had to rebury small portions of the line when it popped-up from time-to-time. Even during my explanation, he seemed doubtful of my concern, saying that they often aerated other yards without issue. I said that was fine for others but that my line burial was exceptionally shallow...an inch or two throughout. I walked the yard with Taylor to specifically show him where NOT to aerate to prevent breaking the line. He said he understood. At that point, I went into my house to do work for my job, which required the internet. I hadn't worked more than 15 minutes when my internet went out. I went outside to find that Taylor had driven his aerated all over the areas that I told him not to. And when I told him that he broke my internet line he seemed mystified. I told him that if AT&T charged me to get it back up and running that I would expect ClearGreen to take responsibility. All of this was done calmly and professionally. I spent approximately 6-7 hours to get back online. AT&T came and confirmed that the line was broken, and they laid down a new line. Beyond that, it was weeks before they would finish the job by coming out again to bury the second line. ClearGreen charged me for the aeration (not unexpectedly), at which time I reminded Taylor that ClearGreen might need to be accountable to some degree once the dust had settled with AT&T. Between waiting several weeks for AT&T to bury the second line (and waiting to make sure they weren't going to charge me), and my schedule, it took a number of weeks to get back with Taylor. When I did, I explained that I was willing to continue with the ongoing lawn fertilization service, but that I wanted consideration for the time it took me to deal with the aeration issue. I explained that of the 6-7 hours I had to spend cleaning up their mess, several of those hours were vacation time that I had to take off from work...in other words, actual money from my pocket. I proposed that ClearGreen provide the first two (of six) fertilizer applications for free to make up for my loss of personal time and (vacation) income. Once again, this was done calmly an professionally, and I was pleased that I could provide a fair way forward. Disappointingly, Taylor responded in the negative. Worse than that, he doubled-down by blaming me. He said that I had mentioned that I'd had multiple problems with my internet in the past. I had to point out that, apparently, he paid as much attention to my pre-aeration explanation of my issue as he did when I showed him where NOT to aerate. I had to (re)explain that I've NEVER had issues with my internet connectivity...practically 100% up-time...and that my ONLY issue was the shallowly buried line (which NEVER affected my connectivity/up-time). He claimed that they'd never damaged a utility line before (which is irrelevant), and that he wasn't certain he caused the issue. Never mind that it went out WHILE he was aerating my yard, and never mind that the AT&T technician who came by hours later confirmed the line break. There is NO DOUBT that my line breakage was the direct result of his aeration and ignoring my instructions. In the end, Taylor said that they wanted to "step away from providing future services." So, not only did Taylor/ClearGreen decline the fair proposal I made to continue our business relationship, but in doing so they literally took money out of my pocket in the form of the vacation time I had to use to rectify the problem they caused. I've explained all of this to Taylor, but he stuck with the decision to sever our relationship without compensating me in any way for the damage he caused. So, beware if you take them on as a service provider.

My contract with this organization states that they will keep weeds out of my parking area and mulched beds. Flower bed weeding up to 15 times. I have had to call them several times and ask them to do their jobs. As of today, I have weeds in my flower beds/mulched areas that are several feet high. As far as I’m concerned. They are FIRED.

Our lawn mower needed service. I called ClearGreen to make up the difference for a few weeks. They started the same week, did a fantastic job, and allowed seamless cancellation when our mower was ready. Highly recommend!
