Baltimore Bark House

Baltimore Bark House is the BEST! Our Bronson has the best time when we take him for daycare or overnight. The crew is wonderful, very communicative and super pleasant! We love that each time we bring him, they send us Bronson's report card and photos - makes missing him easier.

Our dog Millie is a regular at Bark House because we trust them with her. She’s involved in many facets there: daycare, boarding, and small group training and we’ve had a positive experience with each! What’s even better is telling friends or other dog owners that it’s where Millie goes and we hearing that’s where they trust their pooch as well! I highly recommend Baltimore Bark House to any dog owners in area. Their outdoor space is just the cherry on top!

We cannot praise Baltimore Bark House enough. Prior to Bark House, our dog was shy and did not know how to interact with strangers or other pups. They worked with our girl so she would be more comfortable— now she’s a social butterfly! She loves going to Bark House and seeing her friends (both doggy and human). We have used the daycare and boarding programs. We love the enrichment she gets and that the playtime is structured so that she still gets her rest when needed. The staff is diligent and has contacted us with any concerns regarding her health and well-being (ex. hot spots, upset stomach, etc.). They create a fun environment and do special activities during the holidays. On days when she plays in the mud in their backyard or splashes in the pool, they take the time to clean her up so that she comes home clean. I love the report card feature that shows pictures from her day as well as a statement about her visit. I also like the camera access and find myself checking in on her and her friends just to bring a smile to my face during the long workday. I highly recommend Baltimore Bark House!

We couldn’t be more impressed with Baltimore Bark House! They go above and beyond to make our rescue pup Charlie feel comfortable at every visit. In just a couple of months he has shown so much progress in his ability to socialize with other dogs thanks to the patience and expertise of their staff. Some highlights: I love how they do a meet and greet session where you leave your dog for a few hours after the tour to make sure it’s a good fit. The daily report card notes and photos are adorable. We always enjoy reading the report cards and watching him on the playtime cameras. They have been incredibly accommodating with scheduling late pickups and drop-offs. You can rent their backyard after-hours, which was great for letting him run around and get acclimated to the space. When Charlie got sick right before his first scheduled boarding, we thought we would need to cancel our trip, but Bark House was able to arrange for an employee to care for him in her home. We are amazed at how much individual attention he gets during every playtime and boarding visit. Thank you, Baltimore Bark House, for taking such great care of Charlie!

Our two dogs, Giggs and Gunnar absolutely love Baltimore Bark House! Our family has been to several other dog daycare facilities in Baltimore (each one is great), but this experience has been the best! We've never experienced a daycare with so much purposeful play dedicated to the dogs. There's truly intent behind daycare rather than letting the dogs wander around a big room, or outside together. Sometimes that's what they need... but at Baltimore Bark House, we truly see the dedicated attention our pups get. Whether it's agility courses, mind-stimulation activities, fun treats, or just cuddles... we truly see the care put in to all the dogs (not just ours). Something else we love is the dedicated report card we get for each visit. Our family often cracks up reading the report card, because it's just honest and funny! Plus, we get dozens of high-quality photos and videos of both dogs playing throughout the day. (You can download them from their app on your computer or via their app. Both are super easy to use.) Another thing we love about Baltimore Bark House is it has both a large indoor and large outdoor space. Their website has their outdoor plans (not completed yet), which we're really looking forward to once the temperature warms up. But, it's really nice in the middle of winter or the middle of summer to have a safe and comfortable place for them to learn, play, and enjoy. They offer additional training, classes, and other services here that we'd definitely feel comfortable with adding at any point (especially for our almost 9-month-old pup). He's been doing so well since taking him to Baltimore Bark House. We feel the staff and the dedicated attention he's getting are huge contributing factors!
