Weed Man Lawn Care

Adriana helped me customize a lawn plan based on my lawns needs. As a former True Green customer and still recovering my lawn from dealing with them, it was refreshing. Adrianna was the embodiment of knowledge and great customer service.

I’ve been a Weed Man customer for many years, across multiple properties, and I referred many of my own clients to them. They were on my preferred vendor list. Until recently, I had generally good experiences. In 2024, my personal residence had a technician whose results were noticeably below the standard I’d had for years. Another property I own, serviced in a different area, continued to do well. This summer, Weed Man called about restarting service and improving results, which I agreed to try. During that conversation, aeration and overseeding were discussed. The quote included a steep wooded hill on our property that we never overseed and never intended to. I told the salesperson I was unsure about that service and needed to follow up. Despite that, an aeration and overseeding was performed in August during an extremely hot, dry week, without my confirmation and while I was not home. They also aerated the hill I had questioned. During the visit, my underground dog fence and cable internet line were cut, creating additional expenses. The biggest issue was the complete lack of customer service afterward. I called hoping to resolve things reasonably. An apology, a credit, a discount, or a follow-up service would have gone a long way. Instead, I was told automated calls and texts were sent. I don’t answer spam-flagged calls, and I never received texts. I repeatedly asked to speak with a manager or owner and was not allowed to. Notes were “passed along,” and when I did receive follow-up communication, all blame was placed on me. There was no flexibility, no accountability, and no willingness to stand behind the work, despite a stated guarantee. The aeration itself was poorly done and produced very little grass. A bag of seed I personally spread did more than the $1,000+ service. I cancelled service on both properties and was told I would be sent to collections if I didn’t pay. I’ve now removed Weed Man from my referral list. This wasn’t about perfection. It was about communication, care, and standing behind your work. This situation could have been resolved easily, but the response from customer service turned a long-term customer into a lost one.

For visibility, I rated this at 3 stars, but truthfully they are nowhere near that mark. Company came and chemical burned our grass and our neighbors grass GM visited the property and said it wasn’t damaged it was dormant After months of no progress another professional checked the lawn and confirmed it was dead. We were the only brown lawn in all of Tennessee. Company refused to fix the problem, tried to upsell me (lol), and then said I owe them money for our plan. Enjoy the pictures of the “dormant” grass and the weeds they “got rid of” in the backyard. I’ll have to get a photo of the patch of my neighbors yard that got destroyed, especially since they laid new seed last year and it grew wonderfully until Weed Man showed up. So if you want to pay someone to ruin your lawn and your neighbors, definitely give them a ring.

I’ve been using Weed Man for several months now, and the results have been impressive. My lawn was patchy and full of weeds when I started, but after just a few treatments, it’s looking lush, green, and healthy. Their technicians are professional, on time, and always willing to answer questions. I also appreciate the follow-up calls and reminders for upcoming services. Pricing is fair for the quality of work. Highly recommend if you want your lawn taken care of by pros!

Weedman has done an excellent job. The heat is intense this time of year so it is natural to see some stress unless you water very early in the morning. Technicians Dominick and Cain were very professional and knowledgeable. My experience making contact with Weedman has been very easy and i received a callback each time as promised. I would recommend Weedman to a friend or family member needing help with managing the weeds and fertilization.
