Dr. Kapoor is incredibly efficient and straightforward. Appointments are always clear, focused, and respectful of your time. I really appreciate how direct and organized he is — it makes the whole process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend.

I had a concerning experience with Vital Psych MD, and I would like to outline it for anybody considering seeking care from here. I was prescribed a mood stabilizer by Dr. Kapoor a couple months ago. He has been gradually increasing the dose since then. Due to an issue with both insurance and my pharmacy, I was unable to pick up my updated prescription on time and went off this medication cold turkey for several days. I was not aware this would have a catastrophic effect on my mental health because Dr. Kapoor did not provide me with any warnings, safety information, or guidelines for the medication. The only thing he really told me was "it'll make you feel... Good" I had a severe psychotic break while withdrawing from the medication and I left several voice mails over the course of a few days with the office crying and asking for help. Eventually Eileen got back to me and she worked tirelessly to help me get my medication. However, I was disappointed in the lack of concern for my mental state. I was severely suicidal during this episode, I was in tears on the phone with Eileen and freaking out the entire time. She was not equipped to handle my episode and should not have had to handle it. This is a situation where I needed my doctor, and I never heard from him. Nobody has checked up on me since that episode and when I requested my medical records there was no record of me having a psychotic break. I'm not even sure if they ever told my (now former) psychiatrist. At some point during my breakdown I left a bad review. Eileen called and texted me regarding the review and asking me to revise it, which I believe was in incredibly poor taste given I was in the middle of a withdrawal induced psychiatric episode (IE I was not in my right mind) and still had not received my medication. It is not their fault that I didn't receive this medication, but if Dr. Kapoor had given me the proper warnings and safety information, and if the office had shown more care and given me resources when I was suicidal and in a crisis, this situation could have been mitigated or avoided entirely. I am very disappointed in the care I received, and the fact that they have not checked on me once since then is very concerning. I have never felt that suicidal in my life. I could have died and Vital Psych MD seemed to care more about the bad review than they did about my well-being. So here you go. Now that I have a clear head and my withdrawal has gone, I am updating my review with my account of what happened and how I feel about it. I hope that vital psych MD can learn from this and do better in the future.

Best doctor appointment I’ve EVER had ever ! Yes it was a telemedicine appointment but it was thorough and NOT RUSHED like other doctors. Dr.P was kind and patient and extremely knowledgeable about the stuff we talked about. She was non judgmental, friendly but professional. I highly recommend her. The office staff was efficient and fast with insurance and emails. Overall this was a better experience than a traditional doctor office visit if we’re being honest. The telemedicine website was easy to use and there was no wait time Dr. P was there on time. This definitely my forever doctor she was super cool. Highly recommend! Very calming and helpful, attentive doctor. 😊☺️
