Dr. David Neuberger is exactly the kind of physician everyone hopes to find but rarely does. From the moment you walk into his office, you feel like you have his full attention. He truly listens — not just to symptoms, but to the whole picture of what’s going on with your health. There are times during appointments when you honestly feel like you might be his only patient, because he never rushes and always makes sure every question is addressed. He’s incredibly thorough, precise, and attentive. Dr. Neuberger takes the time to explain things clearly and works collaboratively with you to build a plan that actually improves your overall health. What stands out most is that he’s not just treating problems as they arise — he’s a true partner in helping you stay well. He’s also remarkably accessible and responsive, which makes a huge difference when you’re trying to manage your health proactively. I’ve referred several friends and family members to him, and every single one of them has come back saying the same thing: he’s exceptional. If you’re looking for a doctor who genuinely cares, listens carefully, and practices medicine the way it should be practiced, Dr. Neuberger is the one.

Dr. Chu has been very professional, clear, and supportive throughout my care. He explains my lab results in a way that’s easy to understand and takes the time to discuss treatment options with me. I appreciate his attentive approach and how he follows up to make sure I stay on track with my health. I feel comfortable asking questions and confident in the care he provides.

Dr. Pohlgeers is exceptional. She really shows she cares, by really listening to you. She explains things in a way that you understand and really engages with you when you have questions. I have never felt as if I’ve asked a dumb question. All questions she gives the importance they deserve because she is there for you as her patient. She will always be my doctor as long g as I live in Louisville!

She listened attentively, treated me with respect, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the visit. Her calm, reassuring approach eased all of my anxiety, and I left feeling confident and supported. Aubree is an asset to UofL and a shining example of a nurse practitioner who genuinely cares about her patients.

It was a true pleasure meeting Dr. Jordan Hilgefort. He was very attentive and personable. I felt comfortable and I strongly feel I made the right choice in selecting him to be my primary doctor. I’m looking forward to working with him to keep myself healthy. Thanks for everything so far Doc!!!
