Total Men's Primary Care - Downtown

I had a great experience at Total Men's Primary Care from start to finish. The lady at the front desk was welcoming, professional, and made the check-in process quick and easy. The nurse who brought me back for vitals was friendly and thorough. She took the time to explain what she was doing and even shared information about additional services that could benefit my health, which I really appreciated. The doctor who performed my physical was attentive, respectful, and easy to talk to. She answered my questions clearly, didn’t rush the visit, and made me feel like my health concerns actually mattered. Overall, the whole visit felt organized, professional, and patient-focused. I’d definitely recommend this clinic to anyone looking for quality men’s primary care.

First time visit to get a PCP for myself following a move to Austin. Everyone from the receptionists to the nurse and physician I saw was excellent : caring, efficient and friendly. Really happy to have found this gem of a primary care center !

I had been looking for a primary care physician since moving to Austin a couple of years ago and everyone was booked 6 months or not taking new patients… my buddy recommended TMP! I went for an annual check up… They took my BCBS insurance (no cost but have low cost cash options if you’re uninsured). Booking an appointment was easy, and I hardly waited. The medical staff was knowledgeable, efficient, and thorough. As a guy I felt comfortable about discussing some of the the things guys do and go through (mental, socializing, sexual) without any judgement knowing TMP would provide the best care to have me feeling optimal moving forward!

Very speedy, kind, and effective staff. There was a sense of professionalism but also kindness, which can be hard to do in the workplace. The staff were communicative and answered any and all questions in ways that made sense to me. 5/5 stars!

I mixed up my appointment location and some other important insurance things required before I could be seen. Rather than sending me on my way the receptionist was incredibly patient and understanding and fit me in at their location. After sorting through that I was called back by the medical assistant who very sweet. She took the time to listen while updating all my information and was very thorough, I’d didn’t feel rushed or disregarded when asked the reason for my visit. The time between arriving, being checked in, updating info and seeing the provider was incredibly fast. The provider was great, he took the time to listen carefully, asked questions and even discussed each issue separately. Rather than writing a prescription and sending me on my way he took the time to explain their TRT process and even provided a referral to a cardiac specialist so that we can find if I’m a good candidate, as I have had past heart issues. It’s refreshing to be treated by a Dr and staff that care and aren’t just trying to push treatments that could pose greater health issues in the long run and get you out the door. Definitely not the experience I’ve had with other practices in the past. My mistake ended up being the best possible thing to happen, as my experience today was wonderful.
