Excellent nurses that attended to me. Caring,friendly, interested in my wellbeing. Even the young man who hooked me to oxygen before the procedure was very friendly and informing. My doctor made me feel confident to him performing the procedure. Overall, I'm glad my procedure was at Chippenham. PS. Can't leave out the friendliness of the young lady who greeted and assisted at the front entrance desk. Overall, Excellent service Thanks to all who helped me. G.

This review is in reference to my recent stay at Chippenham Hosp. There are several nurses who cared for me that showed genuine compassion, care, and commitment to their job. The below is a list of some of the names I remember and I apologize if I forgot anyone: Spencer, nurse Landis, nurse Mary, nurse Ashley, nurse Bre, nurse Marina, tech Erin, nurse Sam-tech? (tall brown hair) Sam, tech (red hair) Francis, tech Darnesha, tech or nurse? Nicole, nurse (prior heart experience) Kaisen, tech Naomi, nurse Helen, nurse Chuck, tech or nurse? I also want to give a special shout out to Grace the lead nurse and Laurie the nurse supervisor who went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was the best possible, considering the circumstances. Their genuine, sincere desire to want to ensure that I was cared for should be emulated by all healthcare providers. The only opportunity I can point out is not on this unit. It is in reference to a woman named Mary in the cardiologist department who seemed dismissive with my sincere concerns, brought up by myself and my nurse super caring nurse Spencer.

I want to take a moment to recognize the Emergency Department team at Chippenham Hospital for the exceptional care you provided to my brother last night after his car accident. I arrived not as a clinician or professional, but simply as family—and in that moment, your team showed up in every way that mattered. From the urgency, to the compassion, to the clear communication and steady reassurance, it was evident that my brother was in skilled, capable, and deeply caring hands. He is the only family I have here in Virginia and he means the world to me. Knowing he was treated with such professionalism, kindness, and respect brought me a level of comfort I can’t fully put into words. You didn’t just treat injuries—you cared for a human being and supported the people who love him. Your teamwork, calm presence, and dedication did not go unnoticed. You are true rock stars, and I am profoundly grateful for the care you provided to my brother during one of the scariest nights we’ve had. Thank you for doing what you do, and for doing it so well. Had a great experience in vascular for a leg doppler ultrasound. Ebony was great from the start. She made me feel very comfortable, she was very friendly and confident in what she does. She is a people person which is very important to patients as they want to feel that the staff not only care about their work but you as a person. I was feeling really lost and down hearted but by the time I left, she didn't even know that she lifted me up and made my day and I was able to make it through my day because of her kindness. Keep up the good work. Hospitals need more people like you Ebony. Thank you for making my day.

I've had beautiful birth experiences here with both of my babies 14 years apart in Chippenhams Labor and Delivery Unit. The day nurses are especially attentive, caring, and wonderful. We had a scare with our most recent pregnancy during labor, and each Doctor, nurse, and, anesthesiologist took their time to thoroughly explain things to me in a calm manner, multiple times. They stayed by my side to ensure that I was OK, felt safe, and understood what was happening. I could see the care in their faces, which was very comforting during a moment of fear. I love that the room is very private and all baby care happens right in your delivery room. I felt that my baby was very safe and taken care of after birth. I wish the night nurses had been a bit more attentive.
