St. Mark's Hospital

My wife had surgery here with Dr. Sharma, ENT, and we could not have had a better experience. The hospital has a valet service for patients and visitors which is fantastic not having to look for parking on an otherwise stressful day. We were quickly checked in at the same day surgery area and then placed in a private pre-op room. The pre-op nurses were fantastic. We were visited by the nurse manager, our surgeon and anesthesiologist before she went back for surgery. After surgery I had a great conversation with Dr. Sharma when he was done, and he reviewed her procedure and outcome/recovery in great detail. As soon as she was done in the PACU I was called back to join her to get ready to go home. We spent quite a few hours in the post-op area and Mallory was her nurse. Mallory went up and beyond and is such a perfect fit for her job and all that it entails. I hope one of her supervisors sees this and gives her the special thanks she deserves for having a tough job taking care of patients after anesthesia. I would highly recommend St. Marks if you have a choice in hospitals, and we will come back if we have future health care needs.

I wanted to share my experience with Dr. Susan Horvath because she's honestly been amazing! From the first appointment, I felt like I was talking to someone who really cared about what I was saying concerning my health. She didn't rush me, and she made sure I understood everything about my situation and what my options were. It's so refreshing to find a doctor who takes the time to listen and care about your concerns and questions! The staff there is very clean, organized, efficient, and VERY welcoming. It felt like walking into a warm hug! When it came to my surgery, I felt totally confident in Dr. Horvath's skills and abilities. She explained everything beforehand, so I knew exactly what to expect. She answered every question I had. The surgery went smoothly, and the aftercare was fantastic. She and her team were always available to answer any questions, and they made me feel so supported throughout the whole process. Honestly, if you're looking for a doctor who is not only incredibly skilled but also genuinely kind and caring, you can't go wrong with Dr. Susan Horvath. I'm so grateful for everything she's done for me, and I highly recommend her to anyone needing medical care.

I was seen February 2nd, in labor and delivery. my care team was awesome. Even just pulling up to the women’s pavilion I was greeted by this nice lady who sat with me in my wheelchair, until my partner parked the car. From going in, to then surgery It was really rushed due to the fact I needed an emergency c section. Being 10cm at arrival and baby was transverse breech. I was super anxious, my regular doctor wasn’t in town so I had 2 other obgyns assisting me who I believe both were from foothill family clinic also. Thank you I believe it was Dr Rohrer & Dr cox! I couldn’t thank my nurse enough for helping me with my anxiety, she was so genuine and caring. She held my hand though a traumatic experience I didn’t expect to have. She was so affirming to me tha everything was okay♥️ she truly deserves the best. I was sad to leave labor and delivery because she was so awesome I started to cry hearing she had to leave from her shift. But she truly was the highlight of my experience. She honestly had a huge impact on me. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. Corinne from labor & delivery ♥️ Postpartum was also full of awesome nurses who were always checking up on me. Making sure I was comfortable. they all were so awesomen if I could write a longer review I would mention every single nurse. Especially my night time nurse, she was so cute 🥹 she helped walk me to the door for discharge. (if she hears that she would know I’m referring to her) this person in the picture also was so awesome I didn’t really get to meet him, but my family said he was amazing. I hope everyone is doing well and knows that they are so appreciated. Out of all the 3 different hospitals I’ve been to for all 3 of my kids. THIS was the best one. I didn’t expect to have this great of a care team, considering my previous experiences at Jordan valley & Riverton IHC. thank you all so so much I couldn’t have asked for a better stay during such vulnerable time. And Again thank you Corrine ♥️ I’ve been here previously in 2023 by ambulance for emergency surgery for a oophorectomy With a really nice DR. but to touch on that stay for emergency surgery due to a “potential ectopic pregnancy” which turned to be a cyst that ruptured on my ovary causing me to bleed out internally, while being pregnant. He was genuine and caring when it came to the fact of potentially having hormone imbalance/ fertility issues. He also was kind to my partner. I don’t remember much, but it was a good experience considering the fact it was emergency and that doctor was amazing. Dr Henry Lewis lll ! Thank you all

Arriving to 'valet parking' is always the BEST! When first being escorted to where to change, I noticed names on the different lockers. Most were familiar, but I didn't know very much about some of them. There were pictures on the wall with their names and a brief summary about them. All were amazing women in history. It was then a little more fun to choose which locker I wanted my things in. Everyone who worked with me was very friendly and kind. I enjoyed our conversations. They seemed to care about me, our conversation, that i was always comfortable. It was quick and thorough. I had 2 different screenings done and was out in 1 hour.

I wanted to share such a pleasant experience for my hospital stay at Saint Mark’s Hospital. I’ve been hospitalized twice in Utah using Mountainstar healthcare and this one was the best! Even though I came in to receive treatment for severe heath issues I was having, I can honestly compare my stay here like staying at the Ritz Carlton! My attending doctor Dr Maiya was great; he was so caring and took extra time to explain my condition and address my health issues. The attending staff who took care of me ‘round the clock was beyond professional, courteous, friendly and caring. With that said, I do want to recognize Sonu, Savanah, Rupa, Austin and Ben who took care of me day and night. I thank you guys so much for everything. Even the housekeeping staff took extra care cleaning the room and did not rush and made sure everything every aspect of the room was closely attended to and sanitized. That would be Nyamou. I would definitely come back for any health issues that I have and make this hospital my number one choice. This is the kind of hospital that when you go in for something, you don’t go home dealing with something else. I also had an excellent view with two extra oversized picture windows, so I’ve attached the view that I’ve had during my stay here which was an awesome sight!
