The Emergency Clinic at The Pearl

The staff here is AMAZING. Had taken a friend there a few years ago and was so impressed with the service. I had an incident myself and immediately thought of this location as a safe place where I had no doubt I would be taken care of. The entire team quickly reminded me of the 5 star service I had experienced years ago. HUGE thanks to the MVPs, Dr. Chin, Dr. Lumbreras, Johnny, Celeste, and Marissa for getting me up and running quickly!

My husband and I had to bring our son in to be seen while vacationing here from Canada. The staff were so incredible. We saw Trina the RN and Dr. Fernandez. They were both so great with our son and they made us feel so comfortable. What a relief having him checked out so quickly and antibiotics ordered.

The facility itself was clean, well-maintained, and operated in a structured, timely manner. Overall, it was a positive experience during a stressful situation, and I would not hesitate to return or recommend this urgent care to others seeking prompt and quality medical attention. The medical provider was thorough, attentive, and took the time to clearly explain my diagnosis and treatment plan. I appreciated that my concerns were addressed thoughtfully without feeling rushed. The clinical staff was equally professional and ensured I was comfortable throughout the visit.

This was my first time ever getting stitches removed (and my first time having stitches at all 😅), and the entire experience was incredibly smooth and stress-free. I was taken back immediately with no wait time, which I really appreciated. The front desk receptionist was so sweet and friendly right from the start and made me feel welcomed. Johnny was my RN and he was absolutely amazing — kind, reassuring, and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Dr. Chin was also wonderful and explained everything clearly, which helped ease my nerves. They truly made the whole process easy and comfortable. This will definitely be my go-to spot whenever I need care. Highly recommend! 🫶

Last December 20th, I got to San Antonio excited to explore the area with my two kids, as it was my first trip as a single mom. I felt lucky to be able to spend some quality time with my babies. However, our luck changed when the following day my daughter started to feel sick. The Emergency Clinic at the Pearl was close by and I took her there. The young woman at the front was very welcoming and nice, but the bedside manners of the physician on duty, Dr. Coffey, exceeded my expectations. Not only he was caring and knowledgeable, but he made sure my daughter felt comfortable at all times. I absolutely love the way he talked to us and made his explanations easy to understand. Dr. Coffey is not only a nice man but an excellent doctor. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a good physician.
