Sullivan Medical Midtown

I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with this clinic. I was clearly told that the exams were included in the service, only to later receive surprise charges for those exact exams. There was absolutely no transparency, no prior notice, and no explanation at the time of service. When I contacted the clinic to address the issue, they did nothing to resolve it. Responses were very delayed, and when they finally replied, they denied the extra costs and offered nothing but weak, contradictory, and frankly silly excuses. Instead of taking responsibility for their own miscommunication, they tried to shift the blame. To make matters worse, because of their delayed and unprofessional handling of the situation, I later received a letter stating that my account would be transferred to a debt collection department. Being threatened with collections over charges that were never properly disclosed is completely unacceptable. This clinic lacks transparency, accountability, and BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE STANDARS. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to get everything in writing and think twice before trusting what they tell you or DONT GO THERE

What truly sets them apart is the personalized attention they provide, appointments are thorough and unhurried, giving you the space to discuss your health concerns without feeling rushed. The staff are always friendly and responsive, whether it’s helping schedule appointments or following up with questions. The providers at Sullivan Medical Midtown are not only knowledgeable and professional but also deeply invested in their patients’ wellbeing, making it easy to feel heard and supported. Their expertise in comprehensive primary care, including LGBTQ+-affirming services, really makes a difference in the quality of care you receive. If you’re looking for a medical practice that combines expertise with compassion and real attention to patient needs, Sullivan Medical Midtown is an excellent choice.

Sullivan Medical somehow provides the care and compassion that sadly is a rarity these days. Even though it’s literally in the center of manhattan, the second the elevator opens up to the gleaming immaculate office you’re treated like an actual human. “Patient First” doesn’t adequately describe how much everyone from the Dr.s , PA’s, Practice Manager, front desk administrators genuinely care and make the usually arduous, sometimes demoralizing treatment you receive at other manhattan doctors offices seem even more egregious. If you’re looking for a PCP practice that you can count on, will treat you with respect, and most importantly reliably care for your health, I can’t recommend them enough.

I found this practice through my insurance and noticed that my previous primary care doctor, Scott, was part of the team. Although scheduling didn’t align to see him, I ended up meeting with Evan — and he was wonderful. It’s refreshing to see a doctor who gets me and understands my life without judgment. The staff was also incredibly kind and welcoming. Overall, a great first visit — highly recommend! LGBTQIA+ welcoming :)

Sullivan Street Medical has completely changed my expectations of what healthcare should be. The office environment makes me feel like I'm in a small town, not a big city, and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes past my appointment time. When urgent issues arise, they've consistently found ways to accommodate or help out, which has been invaluable. The medical providers here truly listen. Dr. Todd takes the time to understand my concerns, explains everything thoroughly, and works with me as a partner in my healthcare decisions. The collaborative approach makes me feel respected and involved in my own care.
