Salerno Auto Body Shop *Since 1959*

My car was hit while parked. Salerno Auto Body Shop was recommended as one of the best auto body shops. I have to say I agree. They did an excellent job on my van . They are very courteous excellent customer service. They would update me on everything that was going on. When I picked up the van it looked new. They are honest and trusted auto shop. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing auto body work or a good and trusted auto mechanic. Excellent.

The entire team at Salerno is honestly incredible. Being a local who lives just around the block I have been going to Salerno’s for all my car needs for a few years now and literally every time I’ve pulled into their lot I’ve been met with kindness, fast attention to addressing whatever is happening with my car, and amazing prices to boot. A few weeks ago, two days before Christmas, my car was side swiped while parked, Sal and his team not only came and got my car so fast, but they repaired it in record time - making the whole experienced seamless as possible. They truly were/ are fantastic and make you feel like you are part of the family. So needless to say, I recommend them above all shops I’ve been to in Ny. 🫶🏻✨💯👌🏻

The shop is ok. I replaced oil there once and it was good. They are quick and do not overcharge. I replaced oil there a month ago and this caused my VW Golf to be sluggish and weak. I brought the car back to them - nothing, everything is fine, use more expensive gas. I took the car to another mechanic - same, everything is fine. It took extensive AI conversations to diagnose the issue myself - they overfilled the oil and for VW’s that an issue. For a VW i’d suggest going to a specialist instead.

I'd been looking for a local shop to take my car for a while, but with the sheer number it was difficult to decide until I came across Salerno. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful, which makes a huge difference for me. I also did not feel like they assumed I know nothing about cars (which is often the case as a woman until I start talking about what I DO know). They were very quick to look at what was needed, gather the parts, and the next day get the car done same-day. I find the prices to be very reasonable, especially compared to what the dealer quoted me for the same exact repair. Salerno was also way more thorough than the dealer on looking at what I pinpointed as concerns, and fixed exactly what I suspected was the issue. I'll note that I pointed out the same exact issue to the dealer, and it was absolutely overlooked. Definitely will be taking my car to Salerno for all future repairs! Edit to add: When I first came in, I had my dog with me, and everyone loved him - he even got his weight in treats from the guys!

Just sharing my gratitude and appreciation to you Sal, your brother Derek and your amazing Staff. The repairs to my Nissan Altima were outstanding. [OVER THE TOP] We communicated throughout the repair process. The repairs were done in a timely matter and I was on my way back home in little under two weeks. Upon picking up my vehicle from Derek i passed right by my parked car. Meaning I didn’t even recognize my vehicle due to the Excellent work that was done. My Vehicle looked like it came off the dealership showroom floor. Brought tears to my eyes because of the care that was applied. Detailed interior/exterior engine and all. You have a forever customer when I am here in Ny and anyone that I can recommend (and did) I will with honors! Thank you for loving your Skill/Craft so much. It definitely shows in your work!!
