Easily a 5-star clinic and healthcare experience when Jon was there and the clinic accepted insurance. I'm sure it's a nightmare dealing with large insurance companies as a small, standalone clinic and I'm also sure the current providers and staff still do a great job caring for patients but because of their leadership's profit-based decision making, this clinic is no longer accessible to me and many others in the East Nashville community. Such a shame considering the wonderful service they provide here in East. If they reversed course by accepting health insurance, I would absolutely go back.

I went here for years from its first opening but it’s no longer a reliable option in the Nashville area. Beyond the constant revolving door of practitioners, the constant needs for follow up appointments (this was my first time experiencing a doctor who will not prescribe refills for a daily med I have to take for the rest of my life) and the difficulties communicating, I actually had someone here actively lie to me on more than one occasion about communicating with my insurance company. Lied via email, lied in person when I came into the office to check on the status, and lied in the messaging system. Pretended to leave me a message and didn’t. I mean, just a completely unethical experience. Then I had to argue about getting my medical records to go elsewhere. I still don’t know if I have them all. Not the RVC it used to be. In my experience, they no longer care about their patients, they care about money.

Practitioner Anna is absolutely amazing at what she does! I’ve had hives on and off for 5 years along with joint pain and other issues. I’ve been sick as a dog and absolutely miserable. After one session and the supplements/meds she’s recommended I haven’t had hives for a month! She is very knowledgeable and this clinic is worth every penny.

Riverside Village Clinic has always felt like such a special place in the neighborhood—welcoming, progressive, and kind. That’s why it’s heartbreaking to say I can no longer come here. When I learned a couple of months ago that Dr. Jon was leaving, I was already saddened. But to now hear that the clinic has gone cash-only, no insurance accepted, is devastating. This decision makes care completely inaccessible for most people, especially here in East Nashville—a community of creatives, families, and working people who rely on affordable healthcare. I don’t know who thought this was a good idea, but it feels elitist and exclusionary. Many of us have been left scrambling to find new care, myself included. This shift gives the impression that profit is being valued over people, which is deeply disappointing for a clinic that once felt rooted in compassion and community.

I’ve been coming to Riverside Clinic for years, but something has changed — and not for the better. From my last annual appointment to this one, the shift is significant. A new nonrefundable deposit policy forced me to book an appointment before my bloodwork, even though the visit would have been far more productive afterward. The policies now feel rigid and designed more for revenue than for patient care. This was once a clinic rooted in compassion; now it feels more like a bank collecting deposits.
