Check in and triage were prompt and thorough. Provider visit was very good, thorough and reassuring. Only downside was the wait time for the provider. I do however recommend Rio Grande Family Medicine for personal attention. I don't feel just like a number.

Amy Jane Lozoya NP, was incredibly understanding, attentive, and professional during my initial office visit. She listened to each of my medical issues and then expertly put together a detailed plan of action. Mrs. Lozoya also answered all of my questions and concerns to my complete satisfaction. I was made to feel at ease throughout my visit. I feel both blessed and fortunate to have Amy and the RGFM team in my wellness corner. The clinic is clean, modern and well managed. All of the office staff were friendly, professional and quick to follow through with schedule changes. They were also very accommodating to my medical disabilities. Thank you all for your dedication and hard work. I would like to add commentary to my original review. This addition is regarding my second office visit to RGFM; Amy Jane Lozoya is outstanding. She is without a doubt, the very best health professional I've encountered and I've encountered dozens. I’m so grateful for Amy and the entire staff, from the scheduler and front office staff and medical assistants. They truly go above and beyond to ensure I receive the best possible care, both in the office and with managing my medications. They take the time to listen, explain, and make sure everything is handled thoughtfully and thoroughly. I always feel supported and genuinely cared for. Highly recommend! I had mixed thoughts before going. I needed to be 30 minutes early with a very strict time frame, so I was a bit perturbed. But when I arrived, I was required to fill out some paperwork, and I barely finished before my actual start time. The paperwork was important and played a role in my visit, so my original thoughts were quickly erased. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful and made the process easy, as well as showing me the way to the doctor's facility. My doctor was very friendly and conversed with me on a level that I could understand and appreciate. She was able to schedule some specialists for me that I had been trying to get for a while, and helped elevate some concerns I had with my health. Thank you, Crystal.

I personally see Candace Percifull, CNP and I really really like her! She’s straight to point and no fluff! She uses easy to understand language which is very important to me especially as I am ESL (English as a second language). I am comfortable asking her for clarification if I do not understand. She is very patient but she’s also quick. She gets me in and out very fast but I do not feel rushed at all. It is easy to get overwhelmed with a lot of information but she breaks everything down to the main important points. I understand that many patients like a slow and long appointment but I have a very busy schedule. I have my concerns listed in a notebook prior to my appointment and she is very thorough and goes through each one. I had several concerns my last visit and I was out in 15 minutes for over 6 concerns WITH suggestions, referrals and treatment options. I adore her and would recommend her to anyone.
