Richmond Medical Clinic

I'm new to Richmond Medical Clinic but I appreciate the security of my records and patient information. They do not have a portal, and email is never 100% secure, but I am free to swing by after work and pick up my lab results anytime. They have always been very forthcoming. If I want anything reviewed or if I have questions, I have no problem making a visit. "D" needs to think a little. Nothing is free in life. This clinic is not concierge. If "D" needs personalized care to include someone to pick up the phone and review things over the phone free of charge, "D" needs concierge care. Count on paying an extra 3 grand a year for that. "D" Good luck finding FREE services! I think the care at Richmond Medical Clinic is outstanding. It is close to my house and was easy to find. There is plenty of parking and everyone has been very kind. When I am sick, I get same day appointments. They have CT and MRI on site through Maximum Imaging. I am very pleased and highly recommend Richmond Medical Clinic, Rachel, and her team.

I have been seeing Miss Rachel for many years. She is the most knowledgeable doctor/np I have seen. She listens to you and she knows what needs to be done and she acts on it! My family goes to see Miss Rachel as well. If you are looking for a new doctor or need a doctor to figure out what’s going on I highly recommend her. Don’t wait make an appointment.

Richmond Medical Clinic has been my clinic for two years. I feel like they care about my health and my well being. My wife and kids come to Richmond Medical Clinic; and I have recommended this clinic to people I go to church with and people I work with. Rachael is an excellent practitioner. She spends a long time with me and always teaches me something new about my conditions. I have never left a review before, but after reading the lengthy angry review below I had to respond. I'm so tired of bully behavior and seeing it from another adult is shameful. I don't know much about HIPPA other than it gives us protection from anyone sharing our private information. No where in your review did you say Richmond Medical Clinic did that. Most small clinics don't have a separate department for human resources or compliance officers. If this person needs that level of care maybe you should not seek out small clinics to terrorize with words like "attorney" and "abandonment". It seems like it would have been easy enough to sign a release and then have that talk with the clinic later. it seems like whatever the clinic is asking for has your best interest at heart. Because the clinic cares so much about me and my family and my interests is why I will always go there. Don't be disheartened Richmond Medical Clinic. You have so many happy patients! I am top of the list!

I saw them last Friday. I had bloodwork done. I called Monday and requested it. They told me I could not have my records unless I came in on the phone. I told the lady that was not correct because HIPPA allows me to get my own records electronically. They later called me and backpedaled saying I could get my records electronically after signing a form they sent me. That form has legal release language on it stating I was getting my records after refusing medical advice from a doctor and a statement on the form that releases them from liability by not seeking medical advice...I had an appointment scheduled for this Friday so that is false. I asked if they had a HIPPA Compliance officer. I was told no. I told the receptionist that I would sign the form under protest because it was illegal to demand a release just to get my own records. The next thing I received was a letter discharging me from the clinic for wanting my own medical records and protesting any language on the release form that violates HIPPA laws. On a separate note, I loved my Doctor here. She seemed great. I thought this was weird that they would act this way instead of being reasonable but apparently they also are ok with Patient abandonment and retaliation for challenging an illegal HIPAA practice.

I was in severe pain at six weeks after my surgery and visited Richmond Medical Clinic. Rachel T. immediately took my pain seriously, did a thorough exam, and ordered an MRI to make sure nothing was wrong. She gave me a shot that reduced my pain within minutes, and within 20 minutes I was completely pain-free. With over 30 years of experience, she truly gets to the root of the problem and genuinely cares about her patients. I’m incredibly grateful for her care and compassion. Highly recommended.

This is my second time coming to this clinic. Such kind and considerate staff. Dr. Rachael Tootle was informative and patient with my injury and guided me step by step on what to do to get back rolling. She helped me search for neurologists in network with my insurance and gave me websites on how to search medical reviews. She even explained my bulging disc pain to me with a picture she drew. I’m a visual learner so this helped me understand a lot. Would highly recommend this clinic and Dr. Tootle for your medical needs.
