Very friendly and outgoing older employee helped us out and even recommended and explained the petco vital care program to us, showing how much we would save. It was very sweet and helpful!

I hate leaving such a low review for a few reasons. 1 the people are so nice everytime I’ve been in so they deserve a higher star and 2 they have very unique animals for Petcos in the area. I enjoy looking at the tarantulas, snakes and fish. Unfortunately I’m giving it low stars because today was the first day I went into the bathroom and it was GROSS. It smelled like seafood as soon as you turned down the hall. Like it has been neglected for years gross and if they treat one part of the store like that I’m sad to think what else goes unchecked. The sinks also barely worked so that’s not great

Great job to the staff that checked me out. Great variety. I don't usually shop this location because Hoover is closer to home but that might change since this location has things that the other locations in Birmingham does not carry. Store was clean and organized and well labeled. I'd recommend this location to anyone looking for variety.

Knowledgeable, attentive friendly staff. Lots of varieties of goods for dog, cats, Fish selection and attendant were knowledgeable with advices for each type of fish variety. Son need several types. Love fishing..and decided to to scientific project at moms this year using his passion for fishing..but also in growing own in fish tank..
