I’ve been trying to get into this practice for a while after hearing good things but not any more. My friend couldn’t get her asthma inhaler prescribed from them for several days and ended up in the ER. And recently they refused my partner a refill for his mental health medication (simple antidepressant) because he couldn’t come in for an appointment before it ran out (near Christmas time….) and it turned into a disaster that could have been extremely dangerous or ended his life. We explained he was between insurance coverage and asked for a one month refil on an antidepressant he has been on for years. They insisted he come in and pay out it pocket. He did not have the money or ability to do so before his meds ran out. I guess it was their policy that a check up was needed but they refused to help him or let him speak to his doctor or even leave a message and were extremely rude and condescending. We asked for even just one months refill to get him through the holidays before we could come in but they insisted he come in and pay out of pocket. He was unable to go, and decided he would just try to wean himself off his meds until he could figure something out. I didn’t love the idea, but I understood he was stuck and had no other options. When I got back from Christmas with my family, he was in bad shape, and I had to help him through withdrawal symptoms which almost landed him in the hospital. We easily got a refill elsewhere and will not be returning to this practice, and when we told the doctor at the other practice this story they were horrified. So. If you are worried about meds being ready, or you need any kind of flexibility in your care…. be prepped for these folks to deny you. Absolutely abhorrent considering they are supposed to be serving the community. Really disappointed and ill be sure to tell everyone I know not to go here.

Sat in a private patient room for 40 minutes after I checked in and eventually walked out because it was pretty obvious that nobody had a clue what was going on. This place is so unprofessional. I was pleased with it for the first few years but in the last few years it's been really bad. No thank you. Do not recommend

Receptionists are sweet. Lab work is efficient. But most importantly, the providers are truly caring and thorough. I feel heard and taken seriously when I bring up any issues. This is the standard of care I've been looking for

Quite frankly one of the best places around. They offer queer-centric and minority-focused health care, which is much needed in this area. Reception staff is great and they are easy to talk with on the phone. Nursing staff is gentle, courteous and they are not afraid to crack a joke, which is always welcome. I've only seen my physician there (Dr. Dewitt) and he is fantastic. They really care about your well-being and they do so in a non-judgemental, queer- and sexuality-positive way.

I am so happy with services here - they are truly caring, understanding, quality medical staff. The clinic is also very clean, welcoming, and comforting. I can tell that they really treat everyone with respect and that they are attentive to needs. I've got kind help from the front staff on insurance-related issues, scheduling (and re-scheduling), email and fax numbers, and even parking suggestions! Doctors and NP are amazing too! I am much at peace knowing that my healthcare is just one call away. Highly recommended!
