I see a resident at Grant Family Health, and she is in her third year. I have been seeing her since she started her residency at Grant Family Health, and in the beginning, she was great - helpful, wanting to know everything about me, researching things she didn’t know. She spent a lot of time with me, answering all my questions. When I messaged her on MyChart, she responded within less than 30 hours. If I called the office and left a message for her, she or someone on her team would call me back before the end of the day. I felt my healthcare was really taken care of, and I trusted her. I believe she took an active role in my healthcare. Now that she has entered her third year, it's impossible to get an appointment. She is never in the office. If I do get an appointment, she's always rushing the appointment and running late. I never get time to ask any questions during my appointment; it’s not even like a real doctor's appointment anymore. My neighbor, whom I barely see, is more concerned about my health than my resident is, just from hearing me cough or sneeze. I write her messages, and she never answers, even just to say she got the message. I never get time to ask any questions during my appointment, or if I have questions about my lab work afterward, I never hear anything back. If I have any questions about my health concerns or medication, she doesn't even smile or look me in the eye anymore during my appointment . She’s always in a rush. She doesn't spend time with me like a normal doctor would. I don't feel like my healthcare is being taken care of. She never gives me any answers. I feel like she's given up and is only worried about getting to graduation. But if she continues acting this way, she'll just make a horrible doctor in the end. It’s impossible to get a hold of her. She's not answering my messages. Sometimes it's just a simple medical question, but now it seems that doesn't even work. I have no way of knowing if she's getting my messages or if she's even in the office. I get no responses in anyway. I had a doctor at Riverside that was such a great doctor; she was everything you would want in a doctor. This doctor was wonderful; she gave some of her patients her cell phone number. Now, I know times are different now, and I don’t know if doctors still do that, but that just proves what a great doctor she was, how much she cared about patients, and how she was dedicated to their health. If you had a question, you could get a hold of her that way; if she didn’t answer right away, she would call you back within the day. If you told her you were sick, she would take care of things. That proves what kind of doctor she was. I recommended so many people to her, and so many people had the same positive things to say about her. Everyone knew about her and all her patiences loved her. She moved out of town, and that’s why I had to leave her. And now because of this resident, it makes me want to the grant family medicine which I’ve been a patient at for over 8 years.

Dr I saw regularly was great initially but over time seemed to be genuinely indifferent to my increasing level of pain. Several concerns as yet not addressed. When you start to feel your Dr is skeptical, it’s time to go elsewhere.

I have a laundry list of issues that arose since the doctor left these offices, but the biggest take away should be that this office will let you go without meds, damn that you need them everyday, missed an appointment 4 months ago I didnt even know about, only found out when the pharmacy said the doc hasn't sent the prescription and I called about that, now all of a sudden I missed an appointment therefore I won't get meds until im 4 days without them.... All year just about ive had to chase these perceptions down, where it use to be like clockwork, something admin wise has gone terribly wrong here. there's always a date issue with the prescriptions, one time the pharmacy said someone out of network wrote it and my insurance made me pay out of pocket. 300 some dollars

As a female, no woman should have to be treated the way the male doctors treat you. The lack of concerns, the lack of respect and most importantly the fact that the doctor pretty much weight shamed me is crazy when I’m not even big. I couldn’t even finish the appointment that I left and will not be back. This is ridiculous. He’s an Asian doctor that works in the Walk In Family Medicine Clinic.
