My in-person visit was great. Dr. Kvietkus seemed professional; she explained everything I needed in an eloquent and friendly way. Everyone in the office didn’t hesitate to show their smiles. It was a delightful visit. However, once I stepped out of the office, everything changes. I had to constantly call them just to correct the issues they created with the prescription. The name was wrong, they put the nurse’s name on it. Apparently, according to Georgia law, it has to be under the provider’s name. The quantity of the medication was also wrong; they didn’t include the validated amount that a pharmacy can process. I only wanted my birth control refilled. Because of all the back-and-forth calls and communication, I’ve missed pills for two weeks. I expressed my concerns, but they didn’t seem to care. All the in-person warmth was just to get your money. Terrible experience. I would not recommend it. Going to change my medical provider.

I really like my doctor. I truly do. What I deeply dislike is how this practice operates. In person, everyone is wonderful, kind, professional, and attentive. But the moment you leave the office, it feels like you’ve fallen into a black hole. You’d better hope everything goes perfectly during that visit, because if anything comes up afterward, prescription issues, lab results, or follow-ups, good luck getting a response. Messages go unanswered unless you call repeatedly, and I mean constantly. And when someone finally does respond, you’re often told to schedule yet another in-person appointment just to address something that could easily have been handled outside of a visit. There seems to be little regard for patients’ time, availability, or the additional cost of another office visit. It’s incredibly frustrating, because the care itself is great, but the lack of communication and inefficient processes make the overall experience exhausting.

I have been seeking care from Dr. Rashid for about four or five years now. When I first became a patient, I was thrilled to finally have a doctor who was overtly passionate and capable of listening to patients. Dr. Rashid was and is still an amazing doctor! He is the reason this review is getting more than one star. That being said, my interactions with this clinic have gotten increasingly more tedious and frustrating as the years have progressed. Notably the most frustrating was when my schedule ll controlled drug prescription was sent to the incorrect pharmacy (I specifically asked them to send it to my primary pharmacy in Ga and they sent it to one I had on file when I was out of town in Fl). I was then unable to get my prescription for a very long time since the drug is so heavily regulated. I did not receive an apology or explanation for this mistake. More recently, they state that they are unable to refill my prescription because I need to come in for my 3-month follow up. How this usually works is I come in for my follow up and I then am allotted three refills of my medication. I came in on 10/31/25 to get my prescription renewed. Three months from 10/31/25 is 1/31/25, meaning my next follow up appointment should not be until 1/31/25. Even disregarding the timeline, I have only picked up two out of my three refills. Why (on 12/31/25) am I being denied a refill?? Not only is it a chore to go to the doctor, but then I will be charged another copay and will have to sit around for an hour waiting to see Dr. Rashid. The cherry on top is that I was notified that there was a $20 balance on my account for my last appointment. At this last appointment, I paid $20 in cash for my copay. I remember this specifically because I was surprised I had a copay on my annual appointment. When I called the billing department to ask about this charge, I was essentially told that there is no evidence to support that I paid my copay and that I need to satisfy my balance. I felt like I was being called a liar. I am not sure what has occurred in this office to make it become so tedious and it is genuinely disheartening.

My primary physician is Omar Rashid. I came to know him when I came to Atlanta from Houston over a year ago. He is my partner in health management. He listens carefully to me and provides what I recognize, as a healthcare provider myself, exceptional care. He accurately defines my issues and manages them in a way that is well above the norm. I always feel well cared for. His office staff is outstanding as well.

If I could give negative stars, that still wouldn't capture the incompetence of this Practice. ZERO customer service or patient care. They did bloodwork and never gave me the results or discussed next steps. Dr. Rashid Omar and his staff are careless and unreachable once they take your money. They are all smiles and handshakes to get you in the door, then never actually follow through with the service/ care that you paid for. It has been almost 3 weeks and I still haven't received my lab results from the doctor's office or the prescription refills that were requested. Quest Diagnostic already posted the results and confirmed they were sent to the doctors office, but nobody bothered to follow up with me to explain the results/ next steps. I reached out multiple times to their office and left messages. I also spoke to their Office manager, Erica, and left a message for their Practice Director. This is basically a scam business. Go somewhere else and save your time/ money/ effort for a Practice that cares for its patients.
