LawnStarter Lawn Care Service

Moved to a new state and wanted lawn service before my arrival. It couldn’t have been easier to set up the service online. I was so pleased with the results I will continue to use them! My pro, Michael does a great job and is so nice to work with.

Carmelo has done a wonderful job giving my lawn the TLC that I never could. I'm glad I chose lawnstarter this year rather than the one I went with last to year. I already forgot their name because of the unsatisfactory service I was getting. I can't count how many times I had to request a new service provider. I believe the name of the app was "lawngreen" maybe...... IDK!?! Anyway, using your app and lucking out on getting Carmelo was a +++++!!!!

Mr. Omar from O.W.E. Was my pro and he and his crew were extremely helpful, kind and respectful! They did an amazing job on our lawn and even helped us with getting rid of all the vines on my fence line! (I no longer feel like I live in and Amazon!) I highly recommend him and his crew and I can’t wait for them to come back again in two weeks!!!!

This company is a scam. They will lock you in never show up and then charge you for the service that was never done. Then calling to cancel and get money back is like pulling teeth. They lied about multiple things. I would most definitely avoid this place. They subcontract out the work to god knows who.

I very rarely leave a review for anything, and I have never left a Google review before, but these services were SO BAD, that I have to say something. This company outsources their work to local crews, so you never know what kind of service you're actually going to get. My lawn was overgrown, but I disclosed that information from the beginning. I also asked for the clippings to be removed. When the crew came, they cut the lawn down so low, you could see dirt patches. They also did not remove the clippings. Then they refused to cut another area of grass on the property that was supposed to be cut. This could result in a fine for me. They blew the remaining grass clippings all over the street and 2 of my neighbors yards. This could also carry a large fine. My neighbors had to clean the street and their yards for me since I was physically unable to do it myself. The crew was told about all of this, but still choose to ignore what they were told. I tried to cancel the service due to the poor quality and extra work created, but Lawn starter would not let me cancel. I filed a complaint and called within hours of the team cutting the lawn. Within a few days, the entire lawn started to die off. The results are attached to my review. Lawn Starter sent a new crew for the second and 3rd cut. Even they questioned why the grass was dying. I tried to give the lawn a chance to recover on its own with watering, but the lawn had to be tilled and reseeded. I tried to file a damages complaint, but of course Lawn Starter is full of excuses and will not give me any kind of refund for the damages incurred. STAY AWAY from this company.
