Very personable and Knowledgeable staff. I have had great experiences seeing Jared Carter and Dr. Aviles. I've been going here for 13 years (shoulder, hip, elbow) and will continue as long as I reside in Des Moines.

I received excellent care at Iowa Ortho Des Moines. I was seen quickly, the PA was prompt and took time to answer all of my questions, and my follow-up appointment was scheduled right away. Very efficient and professional experience.

Been a patient at Iowa Ortho in Johnston with foot issues for quite awhile. Everyone there, from reception to the doctor, is helpful from start to finish. Always friendly and a genuine willingness to help. I recently had to visit urgent care for a different issue and I found the same exact disposition and care with the staff there as well. Highly recommended.

Incredibly nice. It was an emotion week for my minor daughter and they did a great job helping her feel better emotionally. Everyone was super kind and the process was seamless. Highly recommend!

Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Dr. Matthes inspired trust right away. He was very pleasant, humorous, explained everything and left the outcome totally up to me. He told me of a place where I could get further info and where I could find out what my outcome might possibly be after some testing. If I decide on surgery, I would trust him completely. Was very impressed.
