AGeather Dountas was very professional and capable. She has taken care of my wife and daughter For years and I truly appreciated her accepting me and working with me. I particularly like the patient portal at duke city, as they actually respond to it quickly!

Mikayla is my PA and she has been wonderful. She listens to everything and she tried to offer various solutions to get my health back on track and it is working. I am very glad to see the nurse I saw the last time has left, because he managed to delete all of my medication’s from their files due to his poor communication, however, the new nurse I met this time, Jay was great and actually friendly versus the old one that left. Also, the front desk staff was very friendly, she rotates to the different locations, but was empathetic to my frustration about using the new technology. Not everyone wants to communicate with staff via only the portal and leaving voicemails for callbacks. We are not all Gen Z patients.

Dr. Daniel is spectacular. I got transferred from Dr Fabian in cedar Crest, I wasn't too happy about it because I think Dr Fabian is a great doctor. But, I couldn't be more pleased with Dr Daniel! He was thorough, showed compassion and offered to help in anyway. I know that's what we should expect when seeing a doctor, but we all know the bar has been set pretty low on the profession of being a doctor. Thank goodness they're doctors like Dr Fabian and Dr Daniel to show us how it should be. Thank you for the care

Avoid this provider. A family member needed a new primary care provider (PCP). Called and made appt for a new patient.. Shortly before the appt the appointment was cancelled. We were concerned that medications needed renewed. They finally set up a tele visit and renewed. VIsit was short and their charge was over $300. Still working on a new PCP and they said the solution was to make an appt with their Edgewood clinic. One visit and then the patient would be established and could go to the Montgomery office. The appointment was made several months out. A couple of days before the appt they called and wanted to change to the Montgomery office with a different provider. Then there were multiple calls/texts confirming appoint which was now 1 or 2 days away. At approximately 5:45AM, on the day of the visit, we received a text cancelling appt with no explaination. Called provider but no answer. Text only. Went by because it is a convenient location and just got the run around. Asked for the original appt in Edgewood but told it was no longer available. Asked why this was cancelled and got the run around. They suggested that since it was the last appt made that it was the first to be cancelled. They offered to reschedule and said the first appointment was 10 months (not a typo) in the future. I checked their website and they advertise same day appointments. So 3 appointments, all cancelled by them at the last minute. I gave a 1 star rating only because it would not let me give a zero. Lots of time wasted dealing with this business with no apparent concern for their commitments.

Adore my PCP Dr Mirabel ! She always listens closely to any concerns I have and answers my questions in great detail. She's the best PCP I've had in years ! My husband also sees her and he feels the same way. The office is clean and bright and every one from the front desk to the MA are always friendly. I highly recommend Duke City Primary care. I've also been to their urgent care and thay are also very good!
