Dandelion Health - Direct Primary Care

The best healthcare I’ve received in a very long time. Dr. Dianat takes time to listen to me and addresses my concerns. I love that this practice feels so values driven rather than profit focused.

I lost my health insurance, and wanted to break away from participating in the medical industrial complex, and found Dandelion Health. Dr. Dianat has been incredible, she is patient, understanding and thorough. This is the first physician experience I've had where I felt there was genuine care for my needs, and that this office practices in a way closely aligned with my personal values. Cannot recommend them enough, even better that its very affordable, and cheaper than if I were to have health insurance and pay a co-pay.

Dr. Joe is a fantastic primary care doctor. He is caring, trustworthy, thoughtful, reliable, and great at his work. On top of everything, his practice is accessible, which can be hard to find in a doctor. Communicating with Dr Joe via text, phone call or email is easy, and he is always quick to respond. He offers home-visit and virtual appointments when needed. He is very open and sensitive, and works well with LGBT patients. His practice and care are gender-affirming. He actually respects pronouns, isn't weird about it, and is sensitive to patient confidentiality (ie he is careful not to accidentally out patients to others). He also speaks Spanish. Payments are easy - I never have to deal with insurance companies. And his care is well worth the monthly fee. When I had an sudden, urgent medical issue arise a few months ago, I was more grateful than ever to be a patient of Dr. Joe's. He has been with me every step of the way since dealing with the aftermath of the issue. I don't think there's many doctors around who would have provided the level of care and safety that Dr. Joe provided me. Dr. Joe is the single best doctor I have ever had....period...full stop. I have lived all over North America and have had many doctors. Joe takes the time to listen, ask cogent probing questions, and takes as much time as necessary. His professional knowledge is superb and he stays abreast of the latest research which is reassuring. Moreover, and I cannot stress this enough---he is empathic and lacking in judgment. I recommend Dr. Joe to everyone without any reservations at all. I have insurance, but still gladly pay the highly reasonable monthly fee because I know Dr. Joe is just a phone call away.

I signed up with Dr. Fields-Johnson or Dr. Joe at the beginning of the year and have been very happy about my choice. He has a different business model than other doctors, offering a "direct primary care" where the patient pays a reasonable monthly fee (not covered by insurance) for service. I have seen him three times now, twice were house calls (remember those?!) and each appointment was an hour long. Dr. Joe does an excellent job listening to my concerns, providing helpful information and fully utilizing technology for efficiency and convenience. We communicate through an app called "Spruce" and Dr. Joe is prompt to reply. Beyond being a knowledge physician, Dr. Joe is a thoughtful and socially aware person. Recommended!
