AllCare was okay before, but I had an appointment two weeks ago since it's transitioned to CloseKnit and the provider was fine, he ordered an xray--which I got over a week ago now (last Monday) and was told my results would be back to me within a week. I sent a message on Thursday in the CloseKnit portal and haven't heard back now, Wednesday. Actually horrendous service.

Even though both the website and the signs on the door say “walk-ins welcome”, my son and I couldn’t have felt more unwelcome when The receptionist was dismissive, acted visibly bothered by our presence, and told us they don’t take walk-ins when I told her my son was sick. She offered no guidance, showed no willingness to help, and simply stared at us with a careless attitude and said the next appointment available was on March 2nd. She didn’t even suggest another place we could go - I had to ask her directly. Only then did she give a brief response. Not to mention I only wasted time and money with Uber in a place they are supposedly “walk-in welcoming”. If I knew they didn’t accept walk ins, if the website said that, I wouldn’t have taken my son who was sick just to waste our time. The fact that they say on website they accept walk-ins when they do not is misleading and may even put people under life threatening situations situations because they waste time when they’re sick driving to a place that won’t take them in and then they will have to find another place just when they arrive at this urgent care.

This is my second time visiting AllCare. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. I know that when I’m unwell, I can turn to them and have my needs taken care of. I’ve seen two different practitioners here and both have improved my quality of life.

I had a really disappointing experience with this office. I had booked two back-to-back appointments through ZocDoc with Dr. Amy — one for a primary care visit and one for an OB consultation. Both were listed as available at the same location and time, so it seemed completely reasonable to schedule them that way. Two days before my appointments, I received a call from the receptionist who immediately spoke to me in a rude and hostile tone. She told me I “can’t do that,” referring to booking two appointments in a row, without taking a moment to understand what happened or to offer any help. When I explained that this is how ZocDoc allowed me to book it and that I didn’t know it wasn’t permitted, she repeated herself with the same dismissive attitude instead of providing any kind of solution. I was hoping for understanding or at least some assistance in rescheduling, but instead, I felt disrespected and disregarded. Because of how I was treated, I ended up canceling both appointments. It’s really unfortunate — I was looking forward to establishing care here, but I can’t trust a practice that communicates so unprofessionally and makes patients feel unwelcome.

WALK-INS NOT WELCOMED I went here because it was close and I presumed they accepted walk-ins. Despite them plastering “Walk-Ins Welcomed” all over, when I was sick and walked over there, they told me they were APPOINTMENT ONLY. If you’re not always going to welcome walk-ins tear down your false advertising. During my uber ride to a different urgent care, my Uber driver told me she actually experienced the same issue with the place when she took her sick mother there. So I know this wasn’t just a one off scenario.
