Access Healthcare

We held a blood drive today and everyone was so nice. They really show care for their staff and were very involved with the drive and our mobile staff. Thank you so much for having us there today. I hope we see you all again soon.

Doctor was “highly distressed” about not having access to MUSC/ outpatient imaging records. When I offered to email him an study or other outpatient result, he became irate that patients “had more access to their records than doctors”. Needless to say it’s not worth paying $225 a month to be a patient there when the doctor cares more about the ease of his access to records than your care. This practice can’t even call in your monthly meds without you making many reminder calls to them. The front desk blames that failure on Dr. Dave stating he should have been the one to address that. There shouldn’t be finger pointing, there should be better patient care. Everyone who goes here says it’s because “it used to be good” and blames Kristen the new office manager, but it starts at the top and Dr. Dave sets the standard.

This was the nicest, cleanest, and most welcoming urgent care I have ever been to. We brought our son while in Charleston for a few weeks and they were so great. We got in immediately, and the NP took her time and we never felt rushed. The office is beautiful and the staff were awesome. Every urgent care/doctors office should feel this way. I never write reviews but had to!!

On top of this practice being the ONLY urgent care open in the area on such a very snowy day. Dr. Albenberg did a wonderful job on helping me get my health back. I can’t be thankful enough. I appreciated the patience and seamless visit. I am now able to get back to work promptly. Thank you again!

Extremely disappointed with this place. Not only did their director behave unethically, but they literally threw “patient care” in the trash because I got health insurance. Although I offered to pay for 3 months worth of appointments, they wouldn’t let me pay for anything less than a year, or refill my medications (which can be life threatening without) because I was going to find an in network provider after 3 months. Which is my right now that I have health insurance?? I was given the option of no help, or to pay them for a full year of appointments in advance to receive my prescriptions. I was due for refills, and they sent some in to the wrong pharmacy and refused to even fix that. Completely unprofessional, and they really won’t help you even when you do pay them and go to your appointments. It is all a money grab. It’s against the law to do what they did so I will be reporting them. I come from a family of medical professionals and they are grateful I won’t be going back here, actually. Sadly, I thought the doctor did care but I don’t think she has much pull against the director taking money and denying care.
