VEG ER for Pets

Dr Wylie and the entire staff and nurses were so so sweet about my rabbit that was not doing well and ended up needing to be put down. It was the smoothest euthanasia and my boy Leonard was so comfortable in my arms when he passed. I'm so grateful for them making a tough situation a little bit easier. The staff was so kind, supportive and made sure Leonard wasn't in pain. Dr Wylie was one of the most compassionate, kind and sweet vets I've worked with and she and the nurses really took excellent care of my boy and even my family that was with me. I will be bringing any of my critters here for an emergency. Also! Not a lot of animal Emergency rooms will take care of rabbits and I was so relieved they were willing to help him.

We took our older dog here for the first time yesterday. Driven by multiple times and it just opened yesterday. I had called before taking him and I was texted the online intake which I completed prior to arrival. Upon arrival we were promptly greeted by the front, and started our visit. Dr. Wylie was our vet, she evaluated him and came up with her diagnosis and treatment for our senior Maltese. I would take any of my dogs here when the need arises. I liked the location as well. Thanks for the help.

I am so glad that VEG was there when I needed it. The staff here truly love and care about animals. They got us in right away and were very attentive to our needs. They got my dog patched up and ready to go home as quickly as possible. I love the open space concept of the facility. They have dedicated exam rooms for those who need it, but most of the triage and exams happen out in the big room. They have exam tables and sitting areas. I got to sit on a couch with my dog, and they had snacks (for humans). It was a neat experience being able to watch the staff working with other animals.

We went there expecting to have our 12 year old schnauzer to be put down, he was in so much pain last night. So much crying and yelping. But Dr Wylie and her team were on it. Took him right away and tended to him. They did the diagnostics, he was given meds and sent home. He is much better some 6 hours later. Very pleased with their service. It was 5:30 am when we took him in. I did not want to wait til 8:00 to call and possibly get an appointment today. Thanks again for the 24 hour service.

Fortunately, unfortunately, we had to be one of the first customers (literally their first day open) at the new VEG ER location last night with our dog, Dexter. Without a doubt, the staff and facilities were absolutely amazing! The team literally met us at the door and we immediately felt comfortable and heard by the check in staff (Melissa), the vet tech (Alex), and Dr. Wylie, the vet. The entire team was extremely thorough, and even more understanding with our fear of being there after our recent loss of another pet of ours. They explained all our options to us, discussed the potential fees, and immediately went to work on our pup, Dexter. The open concept, and being able to be with Dexter the entire time, put our minds at ease during his care. As you can see from the polaroid they provided us, he was immediately one of the "family" and very well taken care of. Thank you, VEG ER staff!! We appreciate you helping us get our Dexter back home with us quickly and healthy!!
