VEG ER for Pets

My dog started urinating copious blood at 4 am and I knew she needed to be seen immediately. I looked online for a pet ER that was open and saw good reviews about VEG ER. I called and they told me to come right in and they see us immediately. The vet techs were so friendly and comforting and let me stay with my pup while they examined her. The vet that saw her was also very caring and thorough and helped ease my stress. We left after when medications and I received the hospital notes and lab results the next day, which my own vet doesn't even provide. In addition, their prices were very reasonable considering this was an emergency visit. I HIGHLY recommend them!

VEG is amazing! The veterinarians and staff were all kind, compassionate, calm and super knowledgeable. I have had pets my entire life and this was the best experience I have ever had with an emergency vet. They let my cat stay on my lap throughout the treatment and watch through a window during the x-ray process. I love how open and transparent everything is, that helped keep my cat calm and relaxed so much more than being separated!

As positive of an experience as could be possible under the circumstances. They took great care of my Kitty Biscuits, who had a severe reaction after spay. I thought I was going to lose her—she was incredibly weak, severely dehydrated, wouldn’t eat, had a fever, very low white blood cells, and was barely lifting her head. After 24 hours in their care, she’s back to her loving, energetic, food-crazy self. Everyone there was very nice, the open layout is welcoming, and the prices seemed reasonable. Also, I thought we’d have to wait for hours in the waiting room, but they got her into a room right away and got her care started without delay.

The care and attention that the staff fave was amazing. I had to leaveChiChi for 48 hours and was sent update photos in addition to getting calls from the doctors on staff. Watching the entire staff work as a team, have fun with each other and the pets while also managing a busy and difficult Saturday night warmed my heart. I hope I never need their services again, but I highly recommend them to anyone in need of emergency pet care.

Veg is phenomenal. My elder cat had been having issues for 2 weeks, and I'd gone to Blue Pearl a week prior. Blue Pearl, after taking X-rays, said he was fine and just had inflamed bowels and sent him home with a steroid. As soon as I walked into VEG, they immediately took action seeing the condition of my cat and put him in their ICU. I was able to watch him the entire time, and even pet him in the ICU. They took (MUCH cheaper then BP) X-rays and I was stunned when I saw them. His lungs and chest cavity were filled with water, his heart and veins were twice the size of normal, and he had cancer. I can not believe Blue Pearl missed that. The staff here walked me through everything. We ended up having to let him go due to his state and age. Veg was incredibly compassionate and respectful, both to me and my childhood baby. They let me hold him as long as I wanted, were very gentle with him and let us have a dark candle lit room with blankets and lots of treats so my baby could be as peaceful and happy as possible as he went. He felt so safe here that he was purring as he went. I can not thank these incredible people enough for their outstanding care during this hard time. They went above and beyond to make the experience less traumatic for me. They made great quality paw and nose prints for me, as well as a fur clipping.
