Travelers Insurance

Don't use auto pay with this company. They conveniently charge you after you cancel your coverage. They do anything to keep your money. First they accuse you that you didn't have coverage when you cancelled theirs. When you show proof that you did, they just block your phone number.

Yikessssss. I was in the market for new car insurance and conveniently got a Travelers Insurance brochure in the mail. Thank god I came to check out these reviews because I almost gave them a try but definitely not going to after seeing so many negative reviews. No thanks

I would rather give Travelers 0 stars. What a joke of a company. I got travelers insurance in Georgia in 2021. Moved out of that place and to another. I forgot to contact them and let them know I moved. Fast forward to December 2025. They have been taking payments with no issue from me. Started out as 275$ in 2021. 309$ in 2022. 357$ in 2023. 414$ in 2024. 440$ in 2025 when I finally caught it, a mind boggling 60% increase to basically rob me. I finally figured this out get a hold of them and get evidence to show when I moved out. They send the refund check to the wrong address after telling them in no longer on Georgia. Waited 10 days or so call and find out they sent it to Georgia. They cancel and reissue to my current address, takes another 10 days to get to me. I deposit wait my couple days and get the money. Cut to January 23rd and they put a stop payment in and my bank processes it AFTER the money is issued and withdrawn. I call Travelers and they can't see anything on their end and I have to wait till Monday to see what is going on. This company is a bunch of crooks. Do not insure with them. If you want to see my negative review on my credit union for processing a check that say and cleared for 3 days check out American Heritage Credit Union.

We recently filled a claim on our home insurance, due to storm damage. The roof on our home needed to be replaced. David Bittner with Travelers handled the claim. He did an amazing job! He sprung into action! He was very competent, friendly and had such personality!! He was very professional and communicated well with us. The claim was paid quickly after the roof was completed. We were so pleased and highly recommend Travelers Insurance and David Bittner!!

Travelers Insurance Company is now bullying their customers to keep them from filing insurance claims. I filed a claim with Travelers in September 2024 for roof damage after a storm. An adjuster came out and determined there was interior damage but stated that the roof had no damage to repair. Twelve months later, Travelers sent me a non-renewal letter stating that Travelers would no longer provide coverage due to the condition of my roof. I believe that Travelers took this action because I filed a claim in 2024 and is an example of Travelers bully tactics to deter customers from filing claims while under coverage. To all current or potential customers, please think twice before using Travelers Insurance Company because they do not honor their policy coverage and try to find any excuse not to pay customers claims.
