The process was easy from beginning to end. The POD was delivered and picked up within the windows they said it would be with ease. We had the POD in our driveway for 2 1/2 months. It was perfect to prep for moving. The team was helpful and patient with my requests. I highly recommend! Thank you~

Pods helped immensely during my move in which I had water damage at my current location, therefore needed temporary onsite storage as well. The drivers were timely and extremely courteous and went above and beyond to ensure they provided the best possible service. I also spoke with two customer service representative by phone to adjust the timing of my pickup and they were very helpful, quickly rescheduling and provided transparent pricing throughout. I’d definitely consider using PODS again in the future and would recommend their services wholeheartedly.

Absolutely Appalled by My Experience with PODS Moving & Storage I am absolutely disgusted by the way PODS has handled my situation from start to finish. What should have been a simple, professional service turned into a weeklong nightmare of broken promises, damage, misinformation, and complete lack of accountability. I originally ordered a 12-foot POD but was told it was unavailable, so I was upgraded to a 16-foot unit at the same price. That part was fine. The pod was delivered without issue, though it was too large and took up my entire driveway — but it served its purpose. The problems began when I scheduled a pickup for Wednesday, June 25th. I received a delivery window via email, and the driver (Colin) arrived as expected. However, after several failed attempts to collect the pod — resulting in visible damage to both the pod itself and my asphalt driveway — Colin admitted he was not experienced enough to operate the equipment safely. His exact words were that he was “inexperienced” with the Podzilla system. He told me another driver was nearby and would arrive within the hour. That driver never came. To make matters worse, I received an email falsely stating the pod had been picked up and the job closed. It hadn’t been. Because the pod was blocking my driveway, I ended up getting fined for street cleaning violations due to my truck being parked on the street. I called PODS customer service — which appears to be outsourced, and clearly not equipped to handle complex issues — and was passed from person to person, having to re-explain my situation repeatedly. I was told the pod would be picked up on Thursday, June 26th. Of course, that didn’t happen. After more calls and more frustration, I spoke to a supervisor named “Beth,” who promised me that the Wilmington branch had been contacted and that the pod would be picked up on Friday. She couldn’t give me a time, but said I’d receive an email with a delivery window. That email never arrived. Friday morning, I called again, only to be told (again) that the pod had been picked up — which it hadn’t. Then I was told it was scheduled for 3 p.m. that day. 3 p.m. came and went, and still no pickup. I made yet another call — this one lasting nearly two hours — only to be told the new pickup date is now Monday, June 30th. Pod was picked up no problem on Monday. Still nothing on being reimbursed for damages to property. This has been an exhausting and unacceptable experience. I’ve lost time, money, and trust in this company. I expected a professional service and instead received damage to my property, constant misinformation, and hours of wasted time. Avoid PODS if you value reliability, communication, and basic professionalism.
