Getting my two fur babies from California to South Africa is not for the feint hearted regards cost, time frame, documents and compliance . I reached out to Melanie at Pet Express, from there on they took over full responsibility and kept me updated very step of the way. We are happy, safe and grateful at our destination after a long arduous journey.

Pet express animal transit and luxury boarding is an amazing company with a staff full of people that will not only make your travel plans for less stressful but also love your animal like family. My husband and I employed their services for our move from San Francisco to New Zealand and I can’t sing Natalia’s praises enough. They are absolutely the people we will be going to if we’re ever moving again. Our little dog Beanie boarded with them for one week before her international trip and it was very clear that she was not only very well cared for but happy. The wonderful team made all parts of the vet, FDA, immigration and boarding process so much less stressful. While she boarded with them, they gave us daily updates and pictures to ease our minds. I highly recommend you use their services, you won’t regret it and your animal will have a fantastic time. Their prices are very reasonable, you absolutely get what you pay for and you’re trusting your animal with genuinely good people. Five stars isn’t enough!

We highly recommend using Pet Express! We recently moved from Oregon to New Zealand with our senior tabby cat, Marge, and could not have been happier with the service they provided. Pet Express made the stressful process much easier. The communication was excellent, everyone we worked with was very knowledgeable, and we received photos/updates every day while she was in their care. They were quick to answer the phone and respond to emails with all of our questions, and they were very thorough with ensuring all of the documentation and vet visits were completed prior to departure.

We will never have the right words to thank Amanda, Jaime, and the rest of the Pet Express team for the role they played in our relocation! As a half-Australian family, we were planning a move down under - but, with two dogs, the overwhelming logistics of relocating them to a country with strict import rules made us reconsider the move. All of that changed when we stumbled upon Pet Express by way of a Reddit post! From our first contact by email with Amanda, we knew the move would be possible with their help. The team walked us and our vet through every step of the process, from getting our dogs' microchips identified to additional vaccinations and quarantine booking. Every detail was communicated to us in advance, and they were highly available via email and phone when we had questions. Travel and quarantine went smoothly. It was clear that they were well loved in our absence. The corgis arrived safely at our new home in Brisbane on schedule and in great spirits! They've been extremely calm and have settled in without any issues. This is not a cheap process and, honestly, after seeing the time commitment that was required by Pet Express to make this happen (and the cost of transport!), we understand exactly why. Endless thank you's to Pet Express for making our corgis' move a reality!!!

Pet Express was absolutely incredible from the very first moment we reached out with, “Help! How do we get our dogs to New Zealand??” From start to finish, the process was seamless. The team guided us through every stage — ensuring we had all the right veterinary and vaccination appointments, arranging cross-country ground transport, and caring for our elderly dogs in LA while they prepared for their flight across the Pacific. Every step was handled with expertise, professionalism, and genuine care. Special shoutouts to Mel, Brandon, and Mia for their flawless planning and execution, and to Destiny and Kassandra who took such wonderful care of our dogs in LA — sending us daily photos that gave us so much peace of mind and little nuggets of joy. Thanks to Pet Express, our dogs arrived safe, happy, and healthy. We truly don’t know how anyone could manage this on their own.
