PAWS Veterinary Urgent Care

If I could give this place 100 stars i would. I took my dog to VEG Emergency care and did a parvovirus test. It was negative but I told them that last week she was positive for some kind of stomach virus. They didnt heard about it and tried to charge about $6000 for my dog treaent. I found PAWS and I cant say how thankful I'm with them. The visit and treatment was only $169. They saved me thousands of dollars. They were very nice with me and my dog bringing some blankets and feeding her. I really appreciate this all my life and is my place to go to from now on. Doctor and nurse were the best person ever as stated In another reviews. You should go there because you'll not be scammed and overcharged. My dog is feeling better after only 24 hours. Thank you so much to this business.

Theyre open until 10pm nearly everyday of the week and their office visit cost is 1/3 of the University emergency vet cost. My pup ate a dry diaper and I set an appointment online, showed up, and was seen immediately. They were very knowledgeable, patient, and gentle with my pup. They listened to my concerns, gave aftercare instructions and charged a reasonable price, under $300 for the visit, meds, and procedure. Pup is recovering well. Will 100% return, even though I hope I never have to 😅.

My cat Eddie had a runny eye in the morning. By 11am it had yellow pus coming out. I didn’t know if he scratched it or if it was infected. We got on the wait list and were taken into a room upon arrival. No scratches on his eye- he got an antibiotic shot for the bacterial infection and medicated eye ointment. It’s been two days and he’s doing great! I don’t have the desire to schedule 3-4 days out to see a regular vet- - the eye went from clear to yellow pus in a few hours. He would be very ill by now! Eddie was there before from a wound on his side/back. He’s a barn kitty and doesn’t always stay in heated lounge at night. I’ve had 3 other kitties there in the last 3-4 weeks. Two were holding up paws and one was peeing in house- on carpet. Thank goodness the vets are WONDERFUL and the staff is friendly and prompt. Cats don’t like to wait! I’m taking another cat there tomorrow— I like going when it’s convenient for me- not stressing to get to an appointment on time. I do want to go to the primary care side but it’s so convenient to go anytime. I will add pics of my other kitties that have been there!

5 stars! The medical assistant and the doctor yesterday were so kind and caring to my sick pup and I. The efficiency of the appointment, the pricing , and the facility are excellent, but the best part are the people that took care of us. I live in German village, but it is well worth the drive. Thank you for being there in those off hour-unexpected situations: I appreciate it more than you’ll ever know..

We needed these guys today, and let me tell you. TOP NOTCH. These girls were THE MOST compassionate, caring, empathetic, and on the ball emergency care I've ever experienced. I rushed in and said "Now, PLEASE ". NIKKI met me halfway through the door and scooped my baby out of my arms. She was halfway to the back, calling over her shoulder "do you give consent to sedate?" They didn't ask what happened. They didn't ask if we could afford it. They didn't even ask my name. They immediately addressed the need and the details could wait. If you're in Ohio and find your pup in immediate need of attention, this is where you want to end up. This is what true veterinary CARE is supposed to be. And it was affordable!
