Paws Down Dog Training

Rachel is absolutely phenomenal! About a month we got a puppy and had no idea what were getting ourselves into. From the extreme biting, to several potty accidents in the house. We reached out to Rachel because we didn’t know how to appropriately train our buddy! We decided to immediately do a board and train with Rachel, where Benny was with Rachel for two weeks and learning fundamental skills such as how to potty outside, crate training, and how to control his impulsive, and basic obedience. Im telling you that Benny came home and is fully going potty OUTSIDE, is listening to basic commends, is so regulated and calm, and just such overall good pup. My hats off to Rachel and her fantastic work! I refer her to anyone that needs support with their animals!

Rachel with Paws Down Dog Training was wonderful to work with. She helped us so much with puppy training, especially teaching us how to stop our dog from jumping on guests when they come into our home. After each of the three sessions, we saw noticeable improvement, which was incredibly encouraging. Rachel explained everything clearly and showed us techniques we could confidently continue on our own. The key is being consistent and keeping up with the training, and she really set us up for success. I highly recommend her!

We cannot say enough great things about Rachael! She has completely exceeded our expectations. Rachael started working with our Golden Retriever puppy, Mila, when she was just 4 months old, and the progress has been incredible. Mila is now such a well-behaved, confident, and happy puppy thanks to Rachael’s patient, knowledgeable, and consistent training methods. Rachael goes above and beyond—she’s always available to answer our (many!) questions and helps us fine-tune every aspect of Mila’s training. She has even helped us with our 9-year-old Mini Aussie, offering personalized guidance that’s made a big difference for her too. Rachael is simply amazing! When we first reached out to her we needed help with basic commands but most importantly, with how our pup addressed new people when they came into our home. We were lost and everything we were trying wasn’t working. From the first meet and greet she provided us with so much hope and a solid plan and in just over 1 month, we have noticed tremendous progress. I truly cannot thank her enough for improving all of our quality of life together. She provided us with all the tools we need to be confident- we are so grateful for her! She is also so supportive and responsive in between sessions which we found really helpful as we were learning just as much as our pup. She is timely, affordable, and just really kind to both humans and dogs. You can really tell she loves what she does and is passionate about helping you and your dogs live better together. We are so grateful to have found Rachael! What we loved about her training style is that she is very balanced and works with you and your dogs as opposed to having a “one size fits all” approach. She is very patient, knowledgeable & really helps you understand the why behind each step you take. Our dogs are absolutely more confident, regulated & understanding of what we expect out of them and are happier for it!
