tl;dr: Joy speaks dog. She probably knows your dogs better than you do. Joy is the best, by a long shot. We've gone through every variety of dog boarding and sitting over the past 12 years and could never imagine going anywhere else. Her care and appreciation for our dogs is unparalleled. So much so that I suspect if she didn't run a business doing it, she'd probably still be doing it anyway. Her communication and kindness is top notch. We trust her with our fur kids more than we trust our own adult children. There is no way you can go wrong with Joy; she's truly a gem.

I am so grateful to have found Joy and I trust her 100% with my dog's safety and happiness (which says a lot as that list is quite small).

If you’re looking for a doggy daycare in Portland, go to Joy’s. I don’t know what kind of magic she’s working back there, but our dog comes home better behaved and better socialized. We get detailed reports about Pepper’s behavior and she drops genius level training advice. Joy is a total pro, a puppy whisperer, and an all-around badass. There is no better daycare in Portland. This place is the spot if you want your dog cared for like family (and gently judged when your training skills are trash). We love her! Oh, and her IG photos and video (with commentary) are gold.

Joy at Night Shift Pet Care is awesome! I have bring my dogs here every time I am out of town and I always know my pets will be safe and well cared for with Joy. I always receive text and photo updates while I am away. I boarded my 14 year old dog here, who needs pills at least 3 times a day and Joy did an amazing job taking care of my senior.
