We recently went through an unfortunate collision and immediately ran into issues with the repair shop, including a disagreement over what was owed and how the repairs were being handled. Before we even reached out, our agent Matt Henning proactively noticed the accident, checked in on us to make sure everyone was okay, and stepped in to ensure we were being taken care of. He stayed on top of the situation, followed the process closely, and remained involved until the issue with the repair shop was fully resolved. In a time and world where everyone is incredibly busy, it is truly impressive to work with an agent who goes above and beyond without being asked. Matt has always been proactive, attentive, and genuinely cares about his clients. We have been working with Matt Henning at McCartan Insurance for over a decade, and he has consistently been an amazing agent. He is extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and dependable. We were in the process of buying a new house and wanted new insurance because we were unhappy with our previous provider. We needed to get switched over in a short amount of time and a family member recommended McCartan Insurance Group so I called late on a Friday afternoon thinking I was going to get an answering service but Joel answered and asked me for some info and got me a quote by Sunday! I had a lot of questions and Joel was super responsive and so patient with me on every single phone call (and I called A LOT!). Not once did he ever make me feel like I was asking any dumb questions. He was very knowledgeable and helped me figure out all the different options for our home. Not only do they offer great rates but the customer service so far has been exceptional. I highly recommend them!

I’ve not had to make a claim as of yet. I think that would affect a quality and value review positively or negatively depending on how it’s handled. I can say that every time I’ve had a question or concern my agent, Joel McCartan has been quick to respond with kindness, patience, and professionalism. My issues and questions are quickly addressed and resolved. The rate for my homeowner policy is better than what my mortgage company initially selected and Joel made it easy to switch. As long as the rates are reasonable I will stay with this company because of my agent’s outstanding service.
