Hounds Lounge Pet Resort and Spa - Riverdale

So we have usually had a good experience here, but yesterday our pup came home limping and wasn’t putting weight on her front paw. She continues to limp and favor that paw today, and the only place she has been was Hounds. When I called to inquire if anything had happened at daycare they said no, but then followed up with a text message telling us that we were no longer welcome at Hounds. When I responded to the text to ask for clarification and called I received no response. I finally got someone on the phone and was told that they weren’t meeting our expectations so we weren’t welcome back at Hounds. It was confusing to me because I was asking for them to improve their communication with us (in the past I have questioned why our pup was muddy upon pick up). It seems like they are not used to being asked questions like that, but as someone who entrusts the care of their dog to a facility I would expect the facility to be aware and attentive of things like that (injured paw, offering a towel to clean a middy dog). We are fine not retuning, we have other daycare options, but we had 6 days left on our package and they said they were only refunding us for 5. I also just think that providing a brief report of how a dog’s day went at daycare is a reasonable expectation of a pet parent.

Best place in town to board your pup. I had an emergency, had to leave the state in a hurry, and they took her right at closing time with no reservation and no questions asked. Then, I wasn't able to make into Arkansas in time to pick her up, and they kept her an extra day very graciously. My dog had a blast and moped all the way home. We'll be back!

I was taking my dog to another daycare for a few weeks but I never felt like she was getting enough of her energy out because she still came home super hyper (Not to fault them but they didn’t have as big of an outside area for a dog of her size) I took Millie Sue here for the first time and she LOVED it!! She came back exhausted from playing so much. Definitely going to be making this our new weekly place!

As a first time dog person, I am grateful for community support like what Hounds Lounge offers. I can tell the staff loves my dog and as a former cats-only person, they help me love my dog better. My dog loves the people at Hounds Lounge too. When we are on the road to Hounds Lounge, she can't get there fast enough, and honestly, we can't pay them enough for all the good they do. I trust Hounds Lounge with my dog.

Hounds Lounge Riverdale is so friendly and efficient. I love that they have an online option to schedule appointments and communicate. Courtney is my dogs groomer and she does such a great job!! I have a teacup yorkie (3 lbs) and her grooming is always on point.
