Don't deserve that. Your women out there are so damn scared of a dog they gonna just let the dogs kill each other like damn what is wrong with that right there. Grow a spine get people who aren't afraid of a dog no matter the situation like dude. I don't care the size of the dog if that dog needs help you bet I'll jump in no matter the out come . A bite will heal in time just a victory scar of saving an animal in need. Grow a pair y'all.

When I fostered a big black pitbull mix, they made little to no effort to adopt him. Every time I brought him to the shelter, a staff member would say, "well, looks like he's yours now." So they assume foster failure in advance, it seems. They posted him on their FB only once. Now, I learn from other reviews that they don't even try to connect adopters with fosters. They tell customers that the pet is in foster and then don't encourage the customer to fill out an adoption application. I already have 2 dogs. I was doing this because LMAS cries and screams about being code red on Facebook. Then they abandon their fosters or escalate rudeness. If you want a specific animal and he/she is in foster, demand to meet the animal. Fill out the application. Don't let them get away with that laziness. That's why they are code red. If you are considering becoming a foster, be prepared to do ALL the work AND navigate millennials with really short fuses. If you don't kowtow hard enough, they will blast out a mass email slandering you.

I had to bring in a beautiful dog I found on Broadway. The take in process went pretty smooth on checking in the little girl. It was clean, and the people were friendly. Staff answered my questions and were informative.

I can not thank LMAS enough! The employees are truly heaven sent. We adopted our puppy Kylo from animal house and we were so impressed with how clean and nice Animal House is. I was interested in fostering and Stephanie, Kristen and everyone else set me up with absolutely EVERYTHING I needed to foster two puppies that came into the shelter. It was such a great experience and my dog did so well with taking them under his wing. Once they got adopted we fostered another dog that we ended up adopting from them! The process is so quick and easy. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. I appreciate the hard work they do for our community.

These are the most caring people taking care of our most disadvantaged, discarded animals. The people I’ve seen them have to deal with- wow!! I love fostering, doing field trips and donating here- keep up the good work! Pics of our gorgeous fosters….
