Anna Marie and Mathew, the principals of Happy Heart Pet Care, came highly recommended to work with my functionally feral Welsh terrier—and somehow they still managed to exceed my already high expectations. What they accomplished was nothing short of remarkable. They are consummate professionals with deep experience, an intuitive and almost uncanny understanding of dog behavior, and a genuine love for dogs that shows in every interaction. Their patience, insight, and commitment to excellence transformed what felt like an impossible situation into a genuine success story. I cannot put into words how happy I am with Happy heart. Not only because my boys, two younger miniature schnauzers, had a great time and came back, tired and excited and full of life. But because I had a horrible experience at another pet hotel, so I’ve been incredibly trepidation about leaving them with anyone. From the moment I spoke to Anna Marie I was taken in by her energy and passion. When she met my boys They acted like they had met her before and she was an old friend. She is incredibly communicative, professional, and kind. If you were looking for training or boarding or any service that they offer, I cannot recommend them enough as there are certain people who are born to do what they do And we are also so lucky that she has services here in West Hollywood. I can’t say enough about Anna at Happy Heart Pet Care. My dog was reactive, aggressive, barked at everything… I had just moved into a new place ( with a broken ankle!) and was beyond stressed. I was desperate for help. ANNA to the rescue. My dog Birdie went to day- training for two weeks and was a different dog when the two weeks were over. She learned basic commands, was socialized and spent time amongst other dogs ( wasn’t going to happen before training, sadly) She did wonders for my dog and my family. We needed training too ;-) everybody is happier! Can’t recommend enough!

I am an EXTREMELY over protective Dog Mom to my 5 yo French Bull Dog Brodie. I have been searching for a dog sitter and trainer for him as long as I can remember, but I’ve never been satisfied leaving my fur baby until I found Happy Heart Pet Care. I will say I love to spoil my boy and only the best will do, however, this also meant he got away with a lot more behavioral wise then he should. So I needed to find someone knowledgeable that I could trust with my boy… I haven’t been able to find someone reliable that not only had the experience to help train Brodie, but that I felt comfortable trusting to care for him. Anna Marie checks all the boxes. She not only has helped with Brodie’s training, but I trust her to care for him as if he was her own. She is truly our dog nanny! Brodie loves Anna Marie and he has become such a better behaved boy since he was introduced to her training and care. Having a person who not only will train your dog, but love them the way you would is priceless. He respects her and she has a great relationship with my boy teaching him with obedience training and socialization. All the dogs she cares for are very well behaved so he has her pack to learn from as well. She also is a great resource for a number of suggestions and advice with regard to your pets health and well being. She is always the first person I call or text to ask any questions with regard to his health or needs, which is invaluable. She is one of the most kind and understanding people I’ve met in LA and I have no doubt I would ever find someone who cares or loves Brodie more as a trainer or dog nanny than her. Needless to say I highly recommend Happy Heart Pet Care. Your life will be easier with your dog if you use her, trust me!
