Duke's Waikiki

This place has an excellent reputation. It has a wonderful vibe and a good selection of menu items. I had the Ahi Tuna and my wife had the Mahi Mahi. Both dishes were presented well, served hot and were delicious. Our waiter, Travis, provided excellent service and he makes it a point to call you by your first name. This is a very busy place. We had to wait an hour for our table, so we did some shopping and returned. Keep this in mind when you go there. The wait times can be 2 hours or more during peak meal times.

I absolutely love Duke’s Waikīkī! This place is not just about great food it’s about the full island experience. The oceanfront location. The service is always warm, friendly, and attentive, which makes the experience even better. My personal favorites: • Coconut Shrimp :perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, served with a delicious sweet dipping sauce. • Coconut Seafood Soup creamy, and full of comforting island flavors. •mai tai is my fav drink Duke’s is one of those places I always come back to whenever I’m in waikiki.

Its a very busy and popular restaurant! And I can see why, food is amazing and so is the atmosphere. The history of Duke is very interesting! If your home sick and missing canada order the hula pie, which is a better version of dairy queens ice cream cake! Coconut shrimp were delicious as well as the crab wontons. Absolute star was the huli huli chicken, so incredibly juicy and packed with flavor! I thought the best chicken dish ive had was in Thailand but this huli huli chicken moves into first place, and there's so much of it !

Breath taking views, amazing food, great customer service. Overall absolutely amazing! They are very on top of everything! Treated fairly, and just very efficient even on a busy night! Portion sizes amazing & filling! We also did their Hula Pie was to absolutely delicious! 100% recommend (definitely share). Leonardo was fabulous and we appreciate you taking such great care of us and definitely appreciate the recommendation on food! Side note if you make a reservation you’re definitely ordering off a different menu than if you just walked in and ordered off the other menu. But highly recommended the reservation for a date night. If you have kids best if you just walk in. They had live music and a hula dancer! It was a perfect sunset dinner for us!
