In short, this company is a total scam and fraud. First, they were incredibly late; they scheduled an arrival for 8:00 AM but didn't show up until 1:00 PM. Once the technician arrived, I explained the issue with my heater. He went into the cross basement to inspect the unit and, after checking it, claimed that the heater was perfectly fine. He told me it would work like new if I simply changed the filter. He then charged me $119 and left. After I replaced the filter, I realized the exact same problem still existed. I called them back to explain that the service was ineffective and requested they return to fix it properly—without charging me a second fee. They noted my request and consulted their supervisor. The supervisor called me back and refused to provide further service, claiming my cross basement was 'unsafe' to work in....! I asked why the technician was able to enter and work in that same space initially without mentioning any 'safety concerns', but they had no answer. They offered no solution, so I ended the call. I strongly suggest everyone avoid their services. They will charge you the full amount but fail to provide an actual repair. There are many reputable technicians in Detroit; please stay away from these guys.

Detroit Furnace was very quick and prompt to send a technician out to our office. The tech's communication was excellent. It turned out what we needed was out of their work scope, but because of that, they didn't charge us a service charge. Very honest company, I would recommend them.

Had a cracked heat exchanged which caused my old furnace to be replaced they were wonderful with sending someone out I got a few estimates and they broke down the different pricing points I also had someone come and install the following day paid thousands out of pocket just to realize at 2am that I can’t even change my air filter without hitting the flue pipe. The technician did not move the spot from its previous location to allow for the filter.
