I have been with this company for years. Every time I call and need assistance or additional help with anything, they are always pleasant. They search for the best affordable policy and move expeditiously. Even when the policy laps, I can call and they never treat me any different. They receive me with open arms and a smile

Okay! So I called and canceled my policy through this agency on December 18th. The bill was due on the 17 or 18th. We found a better option (fyi we never saw this option to save with this agency 😟). Then we started receiving messages from progressive that we owed them a balance of $133. Now we paid our bill on November 17th and if we continued our service then we would have paid on December 18th. I reached out to the agency and this is what they said….. “Queen, The policy was cancelled during the middle of the term. Once the cancelation has been sent into the insurance company for processing. The insurance company will calculate how much coverage they have provided to you compared to how much money has been paid into the policy. Once that calculation is completed they will either owe you money or you will owe them money. When they completed the calculation you still owed them for the coverages they provided to you on the policy. Most all auto insurance policies are cancelled using the short rate method. Home insurance is calculated differently when it is cancelled than auto. Unfortunately, auto insurance contracts don’t work like Netflix, apple tv or Peacock subscriptions. The state of NC regulates the calculations and how the insurance companies are allowed to cancel the policies. Let me know if you have any further questions. We are more than happy to help and assist in any way possible. “ They want to charge for what they determined the amount of coverage they gave….not what we owe???? The issue I have with this agency is a complete push off of responsibility as if they didn’t recommend progressive and receive payment from them for referrals. Also, I have never been charged for “an calculated amount of coverage provided” outside of the policy. If it’s canceled (BTW I only had two payments left so it’s not the middle of the policy) then your charged for what was used not a fictional calculated amount. 10/10 Do Not Recommend Buyer Beware

Family owned business. Started with them when I was in highschool with my first car. Looking back I'm glad I did that then!n Ive been knowing them well over 25 years (went to highschool with the son who's now the owner). The best prices and rates, the atmosphere feels like home (25 years later). All agents are very courteous and pleasant throughout the process. They make everything very easy to understand and also will explain thoroughly if anything is left in question. I highly advise you all to ditch the big guys and come here. Again!! Thank me later They are 5 STARS NO MATTER WHAT!! THESE ARE GOD FEARING PEOPLE WHO MEAN WELL FOR ALL COLORS AND BACKGROUNDS. I KNOW THIS PERSONALITY! 🫡
