Chenal Pet Palace

Went in for a full grooming, was told my dog was scared of the clippers, unlike other groomers they refused to do the service instead of making accommodations , such as trying to use scissors. So since my dog didn’t get shaved down ,they didn’t do any of the other services that is included in the grooming, such as getting her nails clipped, ended up paying $40 for a 4 pound yorkie for a bath only. I didn’t take my dog in for a bath, that’s something I can do myself, she needed her hair cut & her nails cut. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Very unsatisfied to say the least.

Board here with discretion. If I could rate it zero stars, I would, as I was extremely disappointed in the care, or the lack thereof, my cat received during his time at Chenal Pet Palace. The staff neglected to feed him despite me having communicated his eating habits verbally at drop off and having written them on his intake form. It is already scary enough having to board your animals and given past bad experiences, I am already cautious with who I leave them with. This was my first and last experience with Chenal Pet Palace as they could not even properly care for my animal for less than 36 hours. Not only could they not properly care for my animal, any time that I reached out for an explanation, I was told that there was no manager there that I could speak to and I would have to be called back. I have called multiple times to follow up, but have yet to be able to speak to get more than, “i’ll have to leave a note for a manager to call you back.” All that I want to know is why wasn’t my animal fed as he should have been?

Im giving Chenal Pet Palace 5 stars. The managers are beyond friendly, sweet and i love that she has a great memory and greets my dog by name. The staff that works with the dogs are fantastic. My dog is always well cared for, happy and they love him. He gets to have his own bed and toys and they give him treats. Their groomer recently changed and thats the only thing im giving a 1 star to. Eve was kind and gentle and worked out any tangles.The new groomer shaved my dog without asking. I would not recommend the current groomer Chris is how she introduced herself. So boarding and day are is 5 stars. Grooming is a -1 star

We have a golden doodle and a boxer, and our babies love it here! They were able to play with other dogs during the day then got to stay together at night so they weren’t lonely. They were clearly well taken care of when we picked them up and were worn out from their long weekend here!

Sarge has been coming to Chenal Pet Palace for the last three or so years. About two years ago, while we were on vacation, my husband fell and shattered his entire right leg. Rosslyne and Adam went above and beyond during that time. They kept him for almost 20 days while my husband went through two surgeries. I do NOT know what I would have done without them during that time. I am so grateful to have them as a part of Sarge's life. Sarge is a German shepherd with special needs. I would not trust ANYONE other than their team to handle my dog! I've always found them extremely kind and courteous. Definitely give them a try!
