December 8th I got my baby boy Ronzzie and he has completely changed my life. He’s very intelligent dog. If you get a puppy one thing you need to take in consideration and that it’s spending time with them day and day out and they will listen and learn. He’s 12 weeks now he’ll sit, lay down, give Paw i.e. shake as well as play fetch, but he will bring the ball back. He’s got his toys. He’s got his favorite toys and I can go tell him to get his piggy and he’ll go to his. I wish they crate, but it’s open top kind of like a baby playpen and he will come back with his piggy if I tell him to go get his duck, he’ll go get his duck. I got MS and he is literally changed my life completely. I’m so thankful to Charlotte Mecklenburg animal care and control for allowing him to be a part of my life. Paul Crump

I picked Birdie for a staycation only, but we fell in love with her. Matt made the process so easy to complete her adoption and get her spay moved up due to an upcoming jury duty I had. I am grateful for CMAC and Matt for bringing Birdie into our lives. I highly recommend a daycation/staycation or becoming a foster.

I got my dog there over a year ago and brought home a kitten yesterday. There’s usually a wait (they’re understaffed I imagine, but do a great job). That being said, even with a full waiting room, I was in and out in 30 minutes last time. The animals seem very well cared for. I dropped off my Foster dog there a few years ago and I was crying and the guy who helped me was so sweet and kind. Thank you!!!

If you’re looking to foster or adopt, please consider Sydney. She is absolutely amazing, she is so so sweet! She was so friendly with other animals and people. We walked around uptown for about 2 miles and she was so eager to continue exploring. I truly hope she goes to a loving and caring home considering what an amazing pup she is. As for the staff at this shelter, they are also very welcoming and helpful throughout the whole process. With the help of Taj, I was able to take Sydney out for a daycation.

My husband and I have done 2 doggie day-cations with Keyser (tan and white) and Ozzy (black shepherd)! Both are available for adoption and are the best dogs, we don’t know how they ended up here! They know tricks and are so well behaved. Be sure to check out their profiles on the website and adopt your new friend for life!!!
