I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent experience calling to inquire about commercial business insurance was extremely disappointing. I was connected with a representative who identified himself as the person responsible for commercial lines, yet he was unable to answer even the most basic questions about coverage, underwriting considerations, or the process for obtaining a policy. For a business owner seeking guidance on something as important as commercial insurance, competence and product knowledge are essential. Instead, the conversation felt unproductive and left me with less confidence in the agency’s ability to support business clients. I ultimately had to end the call and look elsewhere for accurate information. I hope this feedback is taken constructively. Investing in better training and ensuring that the appropriate subject-matter experts are handling commercial inquiries would make a significant difference for prospective clients.

Lyle at Bridge City Insurance has been most helpful in providing a smooth transition from my last carrier. He took the time to answer all my questions and gave me options.

Bridge City Insurance was a good option for us initially, but when we needed additional support for certain certifications, it took them MONTHS to get back to us with a result. We understood some circumstances may have delayed the process, which is why I reached out for a bond three months ahead of our install date. After several emails and attempted phone calls without resolution, we became frustrated. On the advice of our mentors, we decided it was time to find a different insurance provider. We spoke directly with Lyle to express how we felt and agreed it was best for our company to move on. Unfortunately, the transition wasn’t made easy — we had to contact the insurance carrier ourselves to cancel the policy and request a reimbursement. We truly hope Bridge City Insurance works on improving their communication and customer service moving forward.

I just wanted to give a wonderful shout-out to Bridge city insurance for their amazing and outstanding customer service. While a few of our projects have been placed on hold for the time being , the customer service we received itself up to this point of acquiring the right commercial insurance for our business has been a heavy burden and full of headaches.
